A great tool!!
The pole saw arrived yesterday and I used it today. It is a simple design that is easy to assemble and use. Yes...it is a little challenging to get the long pole upright, but I am a 69 yo male, 197 lbs, and had no problem hoisting it up with all sections but two screwed together...so I had it at 15 feet. It works like every other pole saw. Once you get the groove cut with only 2 or 3 pulls...it stays in the groove well. I suggest planting the handle end on the ground and pushing the saw end up.. once upright it is fairy easy to pick it up and balance and walk it around since gravity isn't pulling on the entire length! When cutting the fact the tip is hooked keeps the saw from pulling out of the track. For branches over 2 inches it will take several minutes ..and a few breathers to get the branch cut through... the largest I cut today was probably 3 or 4 inches thick.... and yes...it is a workout. But pole saws are all a work out. As I said, I'm 69 and used it continuously for almost 3 hours with no problem. It paid for itself in the first hour. An arborist locally charges $100 an hour...so I figure I pocketed $200 after paying for the cost of the saw. I have 2.5 wooded acres and plan to use it to trim a plethora of trees needing grooming. I will consider this part of my weekly workout routine!! It comes in a great storage bag that has a robust zipper and they throw in a pair of cotton gloves that I'd say are size small or medium. They don't fit my XL hands, but my wife can use them for sure for her garden chores. The saw looks very well made and even has that extra replacent blade. This pole saw is much safer than using a ladder to do this work. And most of us don't have a 20 foot ladder anyways! 5 stars in all respects. I highly recommend this saw...keep your feet on the ground, stay safe, and get those pruning jobs done lickedy split at your own pace and use that money you save for that special other thing you have your eye own! Take care.

Good value
Used to remove a palm frond at 15 feet. Works very well. Not too heavy but sturdy. Screws together easily. Blade is very sharp. Comes with nice carrying bag and a spare blade.

Pole Saw Works Best for the money spent-period!
Works really Good & the Well designed saw blade was exceptional. I like how the bag zips open rather than just an open end bag for all the poles. Also having the replacement blade included was a no brainer when it dulls no worries to find a replacement.

Good but not great
The pruner works well and did what I needed it to do. But be aware that the higher you go the less steady the pole becomes. I felt that it works best at very high heights if you rest the saw on the branch and make slow steady strokes and let the saw do its job. Overall I am happy with the purchase and do recommend it just don’t expect miracles at its highest extension

Outstanding purchase
I've owned this saw for two years now and have used it for probably twenty hours total. It's amazing. Easy to assemble to any length, the blade is very sharp and stays sharp, and even with four or five extensions attached it's not unwieldy. Perfect for the homeowner who doesn't want to hire an expensive tree service every year to keep tall trees in trim. I can easily imagine this pole saw lasting 20 years since it comes with two blades.

Wow amazing saw perfect for trimming palm trees.
Way more saw than I really needed. With one extension it easily reaches my tallest palm trees, but it has six extensions, so I can probably trim my ficus tree too which is probably close to thirty feet tall. I love the hook on the end of the saw blade, exactly what I needed for my palms. I also love that it came with an extra blade, I think this will last for a lifetime. When assembled it is lightweight, yet very sturdy. I highly recommend this product. Worth every penny I think.

30 ft tree saw
All lengths screwed together very flimsy. Rivets are popping out of the metal connectors- must replace with metal screws. Blade is very sharp and there is an extra. Does work fine for shorter reach cuts. Works, but isn’t quality

Easy to use tree pruner and worth it.
I used it as soon as it got here and that was two days delivery time, which is amazing to me. The old saying you get what you pay for has effect here. It is long and at first it felt flimsy. The blade was really thin and it comes with two. I am glad it was thin however because it cut beautifully. It was easy to put together and I put it to the max length and cut a few branches off a southern red oak with ease. As I said you get what you pay for and this is worth the money for tree pruning.

The Extendable Tree Pruner features a durable alloy steel blade that resists bending and breakage, ensuring reliable performance. Its sharp, three-sided grinding teeth make cutting effortless and efficient, while the double-hook saw blade effectively cleans vines and twigs. The 8m extendable pole allows you to reach high branches without needing a ladder, and the rubber grip ensures comfort during use. Versatile and easy to assemble, it’s perfect for trimming trees, shrubs, and palms, with a convenient canvas storage bag included. Replacement blades and gloves are provided for safety.

Occasionally an Amazon purchase is so good that one feels compelled to write a review. This is one of those purchases. I needed some branches way up over our outside deck cut back because they shed birch seeds and birds roost and crap all over the deck. It was well out of reach for most limb saws so I risked this purchase hoping the saw was good to trim them off. Within 20 minutes of receiving the package, the limbs were down. Took 2 minutes to assemble the pole to the right length and the provided saw was very efficient at cutting through the 2" branch from 20 feet away. The pole wobbles a bit when extended beyond 20 feet but it's not unmanageable. The two hooks at each end of the saw blade are perfectly designed so the blade doesn't fall off the branch once position on it. It comes in a convenient and well made storage bag to hang in the tool shed. For $75, I could not even get a tree trimmer to come half way to my place to do the job so it is money well spent for anyone needing some bothersome high level branches trimmed off in no time.

As others have said, it is very ackward to use when you have the max pole length of 6 or 7 sections. What is hard is to start from the pole being horizontal on the ground to yank it up to vertical. It is heavy (not the weight of it but because of the lever length). It is also very very wobbly and bends very much. You have to almost anchor the side without the saw and swing the side with the saw up very fast. After you do it about a dozen times, you get the hang of it. After that, you just have to put the saw on the branch at a small angle (not full vertical). Then, the weight of the saw and upper pole does the job, you just have to saw about 4 to 6 inches back and forth. The first 30 cuts are harder because there is paint on the teeth of the blade and it cuts less. But after that, the more black paint comes off and the saw is more and more sharp. I am 6 feet tall and with my arms above my head, I can reach a good 30 feet up. Great ! The materials are ok and the green phosphorescent pole color is spectacular. The sections are easy to screw into each other and to disassemble afterwards. There is a second blade. It is easy to change with just 3 little bolts. The kaki bag is sturdy and well made with a full length zipper and 2 handles. Everything fits in there with room to spare. The one star I removed is because of the difficulty and ackwardness of use at full length. I am ok because I have done this for years but if you are not strong enough or clumsy, you might find this very hard as others have said. So then, just don't use the 2 last sections. It will reach a little less, that's all. Very satisfied with the purchase. It will get a lot of use as I live in a very woodsy area. :o)
