Ok let me start by saying I have pica and iron deficiency so I crave edible clay, and as many of you we all want a specific rain type dirt taste. Right? Well when it comes it comes in a foil/plastic package so the taste isn’t great. BUT good edible clay should only be stored in paper bags for best taste quality so get a regular paper bag (even the grocery store kind of bag but make sure it’s paper) let it sit an hour or so out in the open. Then keep it stored in said paper bag within an hour the earthy taste will come. The chemical taste isn’t an actual chemical taste at first it’s from the shipment and packaging just switch to the paper bag and you will get the taste you crave. I’ve been eating this for many many years, I can’t speak for the quality of using it as a mask because I don’t use it for that purpose plus it’s very red so you probably wouldn’t want to do that. Also just nibble on your piece as you go and the coloring won’t be a problem. It has a nice grit but not too much, creamy taste, like fresh rain, if you eat too big of a bite you can get the gumminess but if your wanting this taste we all crave this is it, just take small bites.

Es mis primeros 2 embarazos nunca me había dado el pica pica del antojo de tierra siempre me ha gustado el olor a tierra llegue a comer desde niña pero de ves en cuando y en este 3er embarazo me ha dado ese antojo fuerte por lo si la he comprado y pensé que al acabarme la bolsa se me iba a quitar y ps no. Ya pedí mi 4ta bolsa solo que me tardan mucho en llegar y en esos días sufro ya que se me antoja mucho y ya no tengo. Ahorita no me ha llegado la 3ra y ya de una ves pedí la 4ta espero que me llegue por lo menos antes de que tenga a mi bebe ya que ya ando en la semana 36 y el antojo es muy fuerte ya que me encantó esta arcilla, se me hace agua la boca. Edit: I've purchased this clay 18 times already, essentially I get one once a week. They dont process the clay properly and sometimes in get small bits of gravel or grass in it. This time though it smelled heavily of incense, Nag Champa to be exact and tasted terrible. , took an hoir for the taste to leave my mouth. Unfortunately the clay quality is inconsistent and minimaly if even at all washed or filtered for impurities. I do not think it is always safe for consumption, which is a shame because I really enjoyed it when it was higher quality. This is my favorite edible clay. I just wish it came in larger sizes. I finish a bag in a week. For those saying it taste like soap or perfume you need to air it out, either in a paper bag or if you like an earthier taste I put mine in an open jar of dirt for 24 hours.
