I have been looking for a great way to secure my flashlight to my BCD without the need for long strings, etc. This works perfectly! It secures my light and allows me easy access without having to untangle the lanyard. I would recommend this product. Hopefully the velcro will last! So far so good.

Purchased it to attach items for scuba, but velcro would not hold enough to really use it. Not worth the cost.

Its awesome that it came with three. Cause we originally only needed the two. But while diving my watchwrist band snapped, and I was able to feed one through and continue my dive. It does work and works very well I was hesitant at first with having almost no reviews. The only down side is that velcro is very tough to pull apart when its sandwiched, and with the velcro completely seated in it makes pulling items off very hard. This is good and bad, for my watch it was very sturdy on and wasnt going anywhere, but for a backup second stage regulator in an emergency situation it's very hard to pull off, my recommendation is to only have the velcro seated about halfway on the clip and it makes it easier to pull off with still some resistance. Other minor problem is the plastic clip is extremely narrow and can make getting it off some D rings very very difficult. Overall six dives in and it's pretty versatile and overall it works! These work very well and hold the items perfectly. When you are looking for a quick way to add your items to your BCD, these fit the bill. No slippage, no problems. Thank you!

Work great

I like the idea for a break-away fastener, but these miss the mark especially for the price. I needed to replace the clip as the plastic ones included have a flap that is too long to allow it to snap on a bcd. I replaced mine with marine grade stainless. The velcro has a very good hold, you won't want to use this for an octo as the pull strength is too great. Also the spring in the retaining clip is not stainless and dissolves after a couple uses. I use these as a starting point for buddy lines to use in very low vis but need to replace all the hardware making them costly for what their useful parts are.

These retain items quite well. A bit awkward to remove, so i dont know how they'd fare in an emergency.
