Simple idea that works.
A great idea, I wish I'd cottoned onto some time ago. They are so easy to use. Build quality is good. So far they are a snug fit on any USB-C cable I've used. A blue LED lights up on the adapter when you have both your leads and the adapter in the correct orientation. When I connect to my USB-C leads and 100watts chargers, I can charge my Samsung A54 or even my Huawei D15 laptop at full speed using these adapters. I'm happy using these and will buy again.

Allow me to divert cable underneath my Macbook Pro 16"
I bought this to avoid cables getting in the way of the monitor, which I have to the side of my MacBook Pro, which is on a stand. The adapters fit side-by-side in the USB C ports of the MacBook and work with the thickness of the MacBook body. The result is that I don't have cables pointing straight out. Ideally, I wanted to find adapters that I could fasten together to easily remove and replace the plugs together rather than separately. I bought these because I could see they were rated properly for the power my MacBook requires for fast charging. However, I would've preferred them to be a blocky, rectangular shape so I could glue and/or tie them together with a cable tie. However, they are exactly as described and seem of decent quality. I’ve confirmed that my Macbook can see my power adaptor with the correct wattage, so I assume the adaptors have not impeded the USB C Power Delivery negotiation.

Does what it should.
I use this to compliment my USB EDC (work in IT in various offices where you can never be sure you have the right cables, but don't want to carry every combination so can build your own on the fly). I found the Maxhood to be relatively inexpensive, and I got higher transfer speeds than some of my existing branded cables (perhaps compatibility issue behind why they worked faster). I was impressed enough I bought most USB3.x connector variations, and over the last few months I have had zero issues, and great speeds where throughput has only every been limited by the device rather than cable. I've had no power issues to report though have to say 100w is the maximum I use at the moment.

Works one way!
As others have said, it only works for data one way. If a device isn't recognised after plugging it into this adapter, rotate the adapter and/or the device's connector. Plug in again and when you see a little LED come on, you're good to go.

Fantastic - BUT you must ...
I almost returned this until I read from another reviewer that if you attach this the wrong way around it will NOT work! I initially thought they meant this is directional (so only one side is for input and the other is output), BUT, its actually dependent whether the USB C cable is plugged in to this upside down or not... SO if you plug it in and it does not work, turn the USB C cable upside down (turn it on the Y axis) and try plugging it in... it will work then

Doesn't stick out much at all, and seems to support the full TB4 spec, so I can definitely recommend it!
