Star Wars The Last Jedi The Visual Dictionary

Definite part to anyone's STAR WARS collection memorabilia. The illustrations and detailed drawings were superb and colorful in nature. The added bonus was the various discussions and background materials on the world of 'STAR WARS' from weapons to futuristic aircraft.

This book follows the storyline of the movie and introduces people/places/things as they are shown in the film. I thought most of the background info hit the right balance between talking about the film and discussing the mythology. I am a big Star Wars fan, but even I don't need to go 3 layers deep on the mythology. I loved the HD photographs; I could see so much more detail on the costumes and props than I could in the movie. I also liked the background info on both the 2 dozen main characters but also the supporting cast. It really fleshed out the movie so much more.

Like the other movie versions, this visual dictionary does not disappoint. There are enough pictures to entertain a non-reader and enough details to entertain an adult. The pictures are stunning and very informative if you are a movie buff. It is everything you want to know about the new movie.Do not read this if you have not yet seen the movie as it contains spoilers!

This book enhances The Last Jedi experience. There was a lot to the movie which I missed, and by reading about costuming, etc. afterwards, I was able to gain a more in-depth perspective of The Last Jedi. For the money, it is a bargin.

Four starsThe reason I didn’t give it 5 was because the author did way better on the Rogue One visual guide. But still great book!This visual dictionary is a great guide to Star Wars the last Jedi. It explains almost everything you need to know about the movie. It even has locations on the island and has a map for the new planets. It explains what characters do and know and their personalities. They explain more about characters and their personalities, body, thoughts, etc that weren’t explained in the movie.They explain a lot about Luke Skywalker in the book. They explained how he survives, his hut, what he eats, etc. They mentions the new characters and gives them a story worth reading. They explain the new weapons that the Resistance and The First Order have in the movie and describe very carefully about them.I would recommend this to any Star Wars fan. If you hated the last Jedi but wanted to learn more about Star Wars then I would recommend it to you. I would also recommend it to people who loved the last Jedi and want more insight on the last Jedi.

Always a great book to have to help fill in the blanks after the movie. Things I missed or background on key figures or background characters too. Pablo Hidalgo puts together a great visual guide. I also own the Ultimate Star Wars, Rogue One and The Force Awakens Visual Guides. They are also must haves for that older and especially the new younger fan to the Star Wars Universe.

Fantastic pictures, enabling you to see the details in the latest Star Wars movie. Information is minimal, but I still learned a few interesting tidbits that the movie did not elaborate on or mention,

a wide variety of photographs and informative text make this a must-have exploration of the elements of Episode VIII. The Visual Dictionary series is always filled with extra information which brings more enjoyment to me when i watch the movies after having read the DK book. Highly recommended for all Star Wars fans to add to their library.

El libro llegó en perfecto estado, nuevo y sin ningún desperfecto.Al empezar a hojear Star Wars Visual Dictionary: Episode VIII, lo primero que llama la atención es lo visual: ilustraciones claras, buen papel y un diseño muy cuidado. Es agradable de mirar y funciona bien como libro para echar un vistazo de vez en cuando.Con el uso, la sensación es que el contenido se queda algo superficial. Los textos son breves y muchas explicaciones no profundizan demasiado, así que se lee rápido y no aporta tanta información nueva como esperaba. Más que un libro para leer con calma, es uno para consultar o tener como complemento.En general, me parece un libro correcto y bonito para fans de la saga, pero no imprescindible. Está bien como pieza de colección, aunque si buscas contenido más detallado o profundo, puede dejarte con ganas de más.

Este novíssimo dicionário visual da DK Editora (em inglês) é mais uma autêntica "obra-prima" que trará à luz informações valiosíssimas (eo que é melhor: canônicas!) sobre o Episódio 8 de Star Wars! Ilustrações fotográficas nítidas, de alta resolução, em material de primeiríssima qualidade, em cores realísticas e com detalhes "ocultos" do grande público! Muito bom material para pesquisas e que ainda poderão gerar ainda mais aprofundamento no universo canônico de Star Wars! Material em CAPA DURA, com a qualidade de sempre, da DK! Excelente Libro de DK books con toda la información de personajes,criaturas,naves y planetas de la película. Nunca decepcionan Ojalá mantengan el mismo formato y tamaño la editorial.
