For me
This is my second bottle, and I couldn't be happier with the results. My first bottle, which I bought years ago, didn't seem to make a noticeable difference, so I set it aside with my other unused products. However, about a month ago, I decided to give it another shot before spending money on a toner. I used it day and night after washing my face, and within just a week, a friend commented on how amazing my skin looked! The only change I made was incorporating this product into my routine. I’ve noticed my pores shrinking, my skin feeling tighter, a clearer complexion, and an overall brightness that I love. Considering the price, this product is worth every cent. I plan to continue using it as long as it remains effective, and I’m excited to see where it takes my skincare journey!

I definitely love it but super overpriced.
Do I love it? Hell yes!Is it overpriced? Hell yeah.So let me explain you can get a bottle double to triple the size from Humphreys or Dickson for either the same price or less. The reason why I love this one is because the aloe Vera makes your face softer and less dry. However if Humphreys or Dickson has one with aloe Vera that find im definitely getting that over this. I will try each one and see which I like more. You might ask well should I buy it? My answer is if you like to give it a try sure if your just looking for witch Hazel as a toner, than there's better value for the same thing. I have seen a big bottle of Humphreys or Dickson witch Hazel in Marshall's from 4 to 6 dollars.

Great for after shaving
Oh Yes! This is a wonderful product. After applying it, after shaving, my face felt soft and healthy. It helped heal razor bumps and nicks big time.

LOVE these! so much better than the wipes with strong perfumes and questionable ingredients
last month my dental hygienist asked how I kept my skin looking so healthy and clear. while some of that might be genetics because I'm definitely not living the healthiest lifestyle, I had to give some of the credit to these wipes. I use them to remove make-up, or just for a quick cleansing when my face is feeling oily, which seems to be happening more now as I get older. they have a nice scent, clean and not perfume-y, the ingredients are natural, they're gentle on your skin, cleaning and balancing without drying. unlike make-up removing wipes that I used to use, they don't leave my skin looking red, inflamed and blotchy. people have known about witch hazel's ability to clean/balance skin for a LONG TIME, and I guess that's why it's still around. they are so many products out there now, but sometimes "new" isn't always "better," and the products our parents and grandparents used are still the best. if you want a "greener" option than single-use, disposable pads, get a bottle of Thayer's witch hazel with aloe and use it with cotton cleaning cloths that can be washed/reused. if you just want to see if witch hazel is the right product for your skin, this is a good product to start with. I definitely recommend these.

Good for What It Is
"Thayers Witch Hazel" has been around for a long time, and is an excellent product for what it is intended - a moisturizing skin toner. It has very little odor, is clean and refreshing, and will tone and tighten your skin. It's also an astringent in addition to this particular product's alcohol base, so has some mild antibacterial properties. And it does contain some witch hazel extract - fourth ingredient down. It works great for a stand-alone aftershave, or a soothing lotion for irritated skin. Lots of natural ingredients, so not packed with mysterious chemicals. And Thayers comes in a dizzying array of scents and varieties - Lavender, Cucumber, Lemon, Rose, astringent pads, mouth spray, alcohol and alcohol-free, to name a few. So 5 stars for a great, all-purpose skin toner, antiseptic and aftershave. What it is not: It is not, of course, witch hazel. Really, no commercial product is "witch hazel," unless you are referring to the plant, Hamamelis Virginiana. Many cosmetic products including this one contain witch hazel extract, which is prepared by distilling witch hazel leaves, twigs and bark in an alcohol solution, resulting in (usually) about a 14% alcohol/water solution containing essential oils and organics from the witch hazel plant. There is no such thing as "pure" witch hazel, unless you are referring to this extract or the plant itself. This Thayers product does contain witch hazel extract in a 10% alcohol solution, along with 5 other ingredients, mostly scent and moisturizers. So while suitable as a stand-alone lotion or aftershave, it's not really ideal for application underneath anything else - because of those extra ingredients, it will leave a sticky film on your skin, particularly under another aftershave or lotion. Good for moisturizing, not so much for combining with other moisturizers. There is another product that is just witch hazel extract - Dickinsons - that only contains witch hazel organics in a 14% alcohol solution, that will dry on your skin and leave nothing behind, good for a cooling astringent splash that can be applied before using another aftershave or moisturizer, or if you don't favor the tacky feel that Thayers leaves. But Thayers is an all-in-one that is hard to beat if you just want to splash and go. Recommended.
