I took a chance and got my wish by buying these.
Some time ago I bought a similar set of diffusion film stickers. With those other ones I ended up applying 4 layers to get what I wanted in dimming. With these newer ones it only took 1 instead of 4 to get the same level of lighting. These are only slightly less transparent than the others. Perfect and effective. I wish I could have taken a before and after picture without and with the application to my high lumen LED porchlight to show the difference. These worked great and are relatively inexpensive. I do recommend these.

Did the job, wished they stuck a little more aggressively
I cut these into strips and used them to diffuse LED tape lights. Worked great, but could be a little stickier.

Good diffusing sheets
I cut a section from one sheet and stuck it across the bottom of a pharmacy light to keep the bulb from blinding me in the eyes. The sticky surface is strong enough to stick to the rim.

Stickiness
Was looking to help dim my lights and this did not stick very well. Difficult to block out light. Definitely check your material to see if it’ll stick.

Works well
they work fine. they decreased my light output by around 20-25 percent from the previous reading. It does take the glare away from these LED lights.

Don’t really dim
I bought to put in a too bright LED ceiling light and they just didn’t work. Not very much of a dimming effect and the adhesive could be seen through the light. I wound up spraying the inside of the light fixture with white spray paint and that worked perfectly.

I've wanted something like this for many years
My search terms never got me here until now! Perfect for smoothing out LED lighting, and dims a in the 15-30% ballpark.

Not darkening enough
They did work after we doubled up the film. Wish they were a little "darker" Easy enough to use on a below the counter LED light in our kitchen. Would not work well on anything that isn't flat.

I got this to cover the light on a Toy I got as a gift for my 2 year old. The the adhesive was good on the plastic toy but it did not dim the light enough so I had to use 2 sheets on top of each other. I blame that on the insanely bring light on the toy (who approves these toys as safe for children?). Anyways, the product works well but it is light diffusing, not so much blocking.

Claims to be high heat resistant. It's not. I do have other uses for this I need to test but those are not high heat. If heat is a concern do not buy
