I recently added the Godox SL60IID to my video setup and it has been a significant step up from my older equipment. The first thing I noticed was the build quality. It feels very sturdy and professional without being too heavy to move around on a standard light stand. The 70W output is surprisingly bright and provides plenty of clean daylight for my YouTube videos and product photography. The color accuracy is excellent and I have noticed that skin tones look much more natural in my footage. One of my favorite features is the app control via Bluetooth. It is so convenient to be able to dim the light or change effects from my phone instead of having to reach behind the unit every time I need a small adjustment. The fan is also much quieter than the original version which is a huge plus for recording clear audio. It uses a standard Bowens mount so I was able to use all of my existing softboxes without any issues. This is a solid and reliable light that cannot be beat for the price!

First of all, I love this light, my love for Godox is increasing greatly these days. They are making products competing with big brands in a budget. I’m a professional photographer starting to do videography soon was searching for a good light the suits both photography and videography. Seen a lot of products, read a lot of blogs, reviews and there seems to be a lot of them to choose from on the market. As I have limitations on my budget I came back to Godox and to this product Godox SL200WII especially as I like the specs. I went through the details fully and found this should work best for what I’m planning to do. There's one downside, I don't see many comments/reviews on it, but I've taken the opportunity to try it. Hope this review helps others like me who are in search. Talking about the product, I have ordered this from Amazon, as always, they and the seller are pretty quick and shipped the product on time. Once opened the package, I amazed by the size of it, as a photographer the ones I own are slim and small but this one looked solid. It is made of metal and hard plastic weighing around 10LBs. It comes with a standard reflector and a wireless RC-A6 remote. The power cord included is long enough to move it around the studio without changing the power ports. Also, it comes with a fitted Bowens mount a U-shaped holder that is pretty solid and flexible. Once powered on I see what it can do, suddenly it looked like a second sun ;) after adjusting it to full power. It has four buttons, two adjusting nobs, and a power switch to control it. Two of the buttons are for adjusting channels and groups and one of the others is for toggle between the effects which I’ll talk more about later and the other is to change fan mode to increase at higher power. Looking at the fan (I like the yellow color) through the vent on top I felt it’s going to be loud even though it said silent but to my surprise, it's actually near to no sound for the time I worked on. I have tested the light Godox SL200WII with other systems existing around with different channels and the built-in Godox 2.4G works pretty seamlessly as any of their other products. Talking about the Built-in 8FX special effects, it has 4 kind of effects with different frequency’s that simulates flash, storm, TV and broken bulb. Out of all I love the broken blub, well this is my first time seeing such an effect live. The flash and storm are good as well with 3 frequencies each. And TV options good for straight on video. With all these the sellers is nice enough to throw in 8 color filters with looked nice. Now coming to technical aspects, the max power of 200W is good enough to light a decent-sized studio. It surprised me when I tried it in the sun, at 100% brightness it emits almost 74000 LUX bright at a 1-meter distance which is good enough to compensate the sun in daylight. Even at that intensity and wattage the max temperature never crossed 95F. Even though the color temperature is fixed around 5600K we can add color gels to meet our color requirement. I think an ask for an adjustable color temperature at this price is a big one. Lastly, it’s 2.4G wireless frequency has 32 channels and 16 Groups ranging from A-F and 0-9.

I have always enjoyed the products from Godox, and this SL60 II D is no exception! I am absolutely thrilled with its performance and ease of use. This light has become an invaluable addition to my photography and videography setup. One of the standout features of the SL60 II D is its consistent color temperature output. The ability to trust that the color temperature won't fluctuate during a shoot is a game-changer for me. Another feature that has greatly impressed me is the Bluetooth functionality. Pairing was a breeze, and it allows for effortless control. I can adjust the brightness, set different FX modes, and even turn the light on or off remotely. This feature has streamlined my workflow and made adjustments on the fly incredibly convenient. The mobile app that pairs with the SL60 II D deserves special mention. It's intuitive and user-friendly, providing a seamless interface for controlling the light. This is a great option for pet photographers who don't want to scare their furry clients with a strobe, but also provides great lighting for videos, adding to the functionality. In the photos I used the light in place of a traditional strobe for pet photography, and in my video I show how easy it is to use the app.

This is my second Godox light and I’m happy to say it’s even more useful than the first (SL60W) with greatly increased light quantity and quality (CRI 97+). This light is apparently even brighter than the last generation 150w model, from what I’ve read. Godox really nailed it with this design, completely eliminating any fan noise at the touch of a button - although at the expense of some light output. The stronger yoke design really helps to articulate the light in various positions and the strength of the mounting points is useful for securely positioning heavier Bowen’s mount modifiers into the desired position without worry. The eight built in effects are super useful for lighting a scene and creating realism in your shots. They are easily accessed and look great when used tastefully. Including a reflector with gel kit is really useful as well. The ability to direct your light and change colors with a gel is always useful. Overall this is a high quality light with great light output and a very reasonable price. Nice job Godox!

The light is great, my second purchase of this product, however greatly disappointed that this did not come with the colored filters as advertised. The filters were the sole reason I chose this supplier because they would be a good addition for my usage.
