URBAN ARMOR GEAR [UAG] iPhone 8/iPhone 7/iPhone 6s [4.7-inch Screen] Plyo Feather-Light Rugged [Crimson] Military Drop Tested iPhone Case

This arrived faster than the initial date it intended and I was very happy with it. For some people, this case might be overpriced but I'll be the judge if the case was worth it, and judging on how it feels, I'm already in love with it. It's just like they described, its slim, light weighted yet durable. The right amount of thickness to hold without begging bulky like Otter box, but slim enough to get out of your pocket. And it has a smooth, yet rubbery feel to it that definitely more grippier than just holding the iPhone by itself, especially because I bought this for my matte black. Overall, I can feel the quality of this case and the design is ascetically pleasing to the eye. I haven't dropped this case to see if it's justified to take a smack to the ground, although I don't plan to either. I consider myself a very careful person so I don't think I'll be dropping this phone, or never. However, if you're looking for something that may take a beating while looking good that has a nice feel to the case, this may be it. Note: While the case I bought was for iPhone 7, it was also made for iPhone 6s. The cut out on the bottom fits the iPhone 7 speakers but as an overlap of the 3.5mm jack for the iPhone 6s. This being a given, front is not covered. If you're really worried about dropping your phone and scratching the screen, you may need a screen protector. Edit: After 5 months of use, there are some scratches here and there but that is to be expected from any case. Regardless, it's still looking stunning and quality is still there and very usable. It'll take a few more years until I'll get a new case. Even though I didn't plan on it, I did drop it at least three times from my hands. I'm 5 feet and 1 inch tall. They did say from 4 feet it should absorb well. I'm not sure if anything higher would protect it but UAG hasn't failed me yet.

Case is slim but provides sufficient grip to the phone, especially with the matte black iPhone 7 which is probably the most slippery finish of all models. It also did go great with the matte black, that I enjoy because with the case it now looks very dark but due to its transparency you can still see the design of the phone, such as the apple logo! So it looks good and is also tough, because as to the protection it provides, it's great as well! I've dropped the phone a couple of times and all scratches were made on the case, completely sparing the phone from any damage. The fact that the case extends a bit over the edge and onto the screen is key to avoid a shattered screen, and this case will do the job very well. It also fits pretty tightly on the phone so it gives it a very rugged sensation and you'll definitely not have to worry about it falling off the phone. Totally would recommend.

I love UAG cases and I have them on all my phones. This case is very nice with the matt black iPhone 7 because you can see the black coming through the back. This case adds so much protection for my phone and I never have to worry about breaking my phone in case a drop. The raised bumper edges allow for better protection and the edges have a nice grip texture on them which makes it alot easier to hold your phone. The only thing I don't like is the price tag but I'm glad I purchased it because it's worth the money. It has a nice honeycomb design for shock absorption. I stand by these cases because I have performed my very own drop tests from 10 feet which is the highest I could go at the time, and my phone didn't have a scratch on it. Ever since I received this case in the mail I have not taken it off. You will not be disappointed and it is good money spent.

UAG has done an excellent job once again with this mobile device case. I loved that one that I used for my iPhone 6. I lave loved UAG cases for two different iPads. I expect this one to be no different. I have already dropped the phone a couple of times getting in and out of the car. Still working great, and still looking great! The best part about this case is that it still keeps things light and thin. While I used to strictly be an Otterbox guy... the bulkiness got old after a while. The same is true versus the Lifeproof cases. Both are really great products... don't get me wrong... but if you are sure that you will not be dropping your phone into the lake, toilet, swimming pool... or off of a tall ladder, down a flight of stairs... those options can be overkill. The UAG case is one of those "just right / fit-for-purpose" designs that I am really glad that I found. On the aesthetics side of things, the design in sleek, unassuming, and professional. It has a "tactical operations" practicality to it, and looks just like what my engineering sensibilities should be putting on my phone!

Great case for the price. Sturdy and rugged. Dropped the phone a number of times already lol and it’s taken a beating and the phone is fine. My only problem, which is minor, is that when it’s in my front cargo pants pocket and I squat down in the course of my job, it will sometimes compress the volume button and turn it all the way down. It’s easy to do since the buttons protrude. Other than that it’s a great case. Would buy again for my next phone!

The case came in good condition and was delivered not time. The deep red is not done justice in the photos and looks even better in either of the black iPhones. After using it for about 8 months is an absolute godsend and has saved my phone from multiple drops and the phone has sustained zero damage. The one critique however would be that if you have the matte black iPhone7 like myself it may leave some small shinny spots on the phones rear.

Nachdem mein Display bei einem Sturz den Geist aufgegeben hat, habe ich mir diese Hülle als präventive Schutzmaßnahme für das neue Display bestellt. Zuvor hatte ich lange Zeit eine Hardcase verwendet. Diese bieten weniger Schutz, aber das Design hatte mich überzeugt... Mein Anspruch an die neue Hülle ist vor allem der Schutz bei Stürzen, aber auch ein angemessenes Erscheinungsbild. Zunächst war mein Bedenken, dass das iPhone mit der Hülle zu dick werden würde und nicht mehr angenehm in der Hand liegt. Trotz des robusten Designs der Hülle und den Verstrebungen ist dies nicht der Fall. Obwohl ich von der extrem dünnen Hülle auf diese umgestiegen bin, hat sich die neue Version direkt sehr angenehm angefühlt. Der Gummirand der Hülle, welcher bis über die Ränder des Displays reicht, ist sehr schmal gehalten und somit wurde ein guter Kompromis zwischen Schutz und optischer Beeinflussung gewählt. Das Display erscheint durch den Rand nur minimal kleiner. Dies lässt sich aus meiner Sicht bei dieser Art von Schutzhülle nicht besser lösen. Die eigentliche Funktion der Hülle habe ich nicht in einer Versuchsreihe testen wollen. Bisher hat sie mehrere kleine Stürze abgefangen, bei denen hätte jedoch wahrscheinlich auch eine beliebige andere Hülle ausgereicht. Auf das Produkt aufmerksam wurde ich durch einen Bekannten, welcher schon seit längerem auf die UAG Produkte setzt, nachdem ihm mehrere Displays zu Bruch gegangen sind. Seitdem ist ihm noch kein Weiteres kaputt gegangen, was für mich als Funktionsnachweis genügt. Sollte ich es in nächster Zeit noch widerlegen können, werde ich diese Rezension updaten. Zwei kleine Mankos: Auch diese Hülle verhindert nicht, dass kleine Schmutzteilchen zwischen Hülle und Smartphone gelangen. Dieses Problem hatte ich bisher bei jeder Hülle und es scheint sich nicht verhindern zu lassen. Störend könnte es bei der klaren, transparenten Ausführung sein, bei der dunklen Version der Hülle stört es mich optisch nicht. Ich habe mich für den Stil iPhone 8 / 7 / 6S / 6 entschieden, da hier noch die Farbe verfügbar war. Was ich nicht bedacht hatte war, dass die Aussparung für die Kamera dadurch größer ausfällt, als bei der Version welche nur für die 6er-Varianten geeignet ist. Dies ist nicht weiter störend, sollte aber eventuell bei dem Kauf beachtet werden, da es auf den Bildern nicht ohne weiteres ersichtlich ist. Die Hülle von UAG findet verbindet ein ansprechendes Design, Ergonomie und Funktionalität. Die relativ großen Ausmaße - im Vergleich zu Hardcase oder Silikon-Hüllen - fallen bei der Handhabung nicht negativ auf. In Kombination mit der guten Schutzfunktion hat sich die Hülle die 5 Sterne auf jeden Fall verdient.

Loved the Color and fits snuggly with my iPhone 7. Got lovely grip and doesn’t make phone look very bulky.
