Akona Liquid Air Entraining Admixture - Concrete Additive for Improved Plasticity and Water Retention, High Strength, Freeze-Thaw Protection (Quart, 1)

I added this to one batch of brick mortar and one batch of silica fume enhanced concrete while repairing a chimney and pouring a new chimney crown. I ended up throwing out the mortar due to poor workability and suffered through the concrete for the same reason. Fair warning, make a test batch before tring to use in the field. That's what I should have done!

Used this on a repair I was working on in my driveway. I live in the NorthEast and the weather is getting colder now and I didn’t want the repair to crack right away. I mixed this in with my concrete and it has given more strength to the mix. It seems to be of good quality and the instructions are clear and easy to read. The process of mixing it is super simple. For the price, this is a good value if it’s going to help you strength your projects better and give more durability to them. This functions just like it says on the bottle and should make my project last a lot longer than the last time I did it. Recommended.
