I bought this genuine 11" Cuisinart "Chef's Classic" lid to replace a lost lid for a genuine Cuisinart Chef's Classic stainless steel 4 qt. frying pan that is a few years old (and try to find a use for the smaller lid in the 2-pack). The pan actually measures 10-7/8" on the inner diameter but I figured, that's such a minute difference, that there'd be some sort of nominal standard that Cuisinart would adhere to and this 11" lid would be the correct one. I was wrong. It is in fact 1/8" too large, will not sit flat, and is subsequently useless. I'm frustrated that the manufacturer wouldn't keep uniform sizing of their own products... although maybe that's intentional.
