For a very low price I got a fantastic solution. Easy to imstal and to use. I liked the point that it has a led indicator. I recomend it.

Just drop a HD in it and plug it in. Works exactly as expected.

The Led indicator is not working but that's ok, the unit is working great, no problem formatting it. I am going to use this unit as a backup drive on my iMac and my first backup went smoothly and very fast. The Led lite is not working but the unit is so I am keeping it. Since it will be only a backup drive the Mac will tell me if it is not working so I do not have to be watching the Led. I like this unit and recommend it.

I had an old 1TB Samsung SSD that I wanted to use to upgrade my Tesla's Sentry Mode and TeslaCam (dash cam) storage capacity. I needed a cheap but sturdy enclosure for my SSD because I didn't want the SATA connection to be bent while I had the drive in the glove compartment.This enclosure snugly fits the SSD. I also tested the speed and compared it with the speed I got when I had the SSD directly attached through a SATA USB adapter. There was some slowdown given the SATA to USB interface but it was not as significant and in-line with what I expected.It also came with a very good quality USB-C to USB-A 3.0 cable. Usually cheap HD enclosures either do not include a cable or they include a very cheap one, but this one looks high quality.

Goes together in seconds, works well with a number of drives in a number of hosts running M$-10 and Linux.Comes with foam pads, so you can mount a 7.5mm thick SSD (with the pads), or a 9.5mm thick mechanical HDD (without the pads).I have been using this enclosure for several months now, and am very pleased with this product!

Okay so the hard drive fits in no problem easy to install hard drive . The computer cannot see it. My cell phone can see it. So it's pretty much useless if you're trying to transfer things to your computer off your phone if the computer can't see it. Drivers did install for it but for some reason the computer doesn't recognize past the motherboard to the drive. There's nothing wrong with the hard drive there's like a driver or something missing for it for the computer. I'm operating Windows 10 so it should not have a problem. If there's a driver download update or firmware update that can be added so the computer can see it that would be very much appreciated if somebody could tell me thatOtherwise it's just junk. I will be ordering a different brand down the road so I can use my external one terabyte drive.

Rescued ssd from iMac plugged in and now an external resource on another machine. All in 30 seconds. No brainer.

Arrived when promised and works fine. Easy to insert into the case without tools. I cannot comment on speed as I'm using an older computer with USB2 ports.
