Best knife they make, hands down
Had quite a few Swiss army knives over the years but the Spartan’s the one I keep coming back to - got just the right tools, nothing you don’t need - blade, bottle opener, corkscrew (yes, very important), all solid - not too bulky either, fits in the pocket easy - built like a tank, still sharp after loads of use - proper reliable, feels like it’ll outlast me to be honest - if you only get one Swiss army knife, make it this one - it’s just the best all-rounder, no messing.

The perfect little pocket knife - I am never without it.
This is the PERFECT Swiss Army Knife. it has EXACTLY the blades you need - there is nothing missing and nothing unnecessary. I add the tiny screwdriver which fits into the corkscrew and is perfect for adjusting spectacles - maybe you should consider supplying the knife fitted with this device. I love the black colour too - much more classy than the ubiquitous red! I lost the first one of these I had and was delighted to find that I could still replace it exactly.

An ideal EDC pocket knife
I have probably to many SAK's to be fair, I really don't need them all but can't help finding more that I want to own. This is my most recent and my current favourite to be used as an every day carry knife. It has all the essentials and is quite compact. I feel I have most things covered when I have this plus a small torch. It's amazing how often I find a use for it. Only today I used the tweezers to pull out a SIM card from a phone. I think the black version looks really smart and goes nicely with a black phone, wallet, torch and lighter etc.

Perfect Swiss Army Knife.
Really great little knife, very sharp and as it should be from the box. Nice mid range size with a firm 'lock' when opened. Good black look, I would be interested in a black anodised Alox, if only they made them. Overall, a useful tool or a great present. Recommended.

I'm relying on this knife more and more!
Absolutely brilliant! I have used this knife more than I ever thought I would. And when you first take it out of the box you can really see the craftsmanship that was put into making it. I would deem it an essential! I personally bought it for when I moved out to uni as it is very easy to forget/loose cutlery whilst living out. And ill tell you, that can opener has come into good use!

This is the 'classic' Swiss Army Knife - though I would consider some scissors!
I have waited a while to produce a review on the Swiss Army Knife (SAK) Spartan, as I wanted to give time to see if this tool would aid me in making my life any easier - I am pleased to report that it has.. though not to any spectacular degree. This is not a negative to the tool's worth though - I got exactly what I paid for - but I have found that I could do with a couple extra tools, such as a pair of scissors. In time I will upgrade to either the Huntsman, or go all the way with the incredibly attractive SwissTool - but until then, allow me to simply say that the Spartan will provide you with two very useful flathead screwdrivers, two reliable, sharp and sturdy knives (for light use) and a very handy bottle opener. This is a nice companion for your adventures around the house, but nothing more.

It’s full sized (not a mini knife). Built very solidly and is quite durable. This knife works well for my needs.

Item received in excellent condition. Cannot comment on the suitability as it was a gift for a grandchild.
