I purchased these HOMEIDEAS Non-See-Through White Privacy Sheer Curtains for our room, and they’ve been perfect for adding light while keeping privacy intact! You can still see shadows if they are close but you cannot make out features of the person. What I Like • The semi-sheer material lets in just the right amount of light, so the room feels bright but still private. • They’re truly non-see-through, even at night with lights on. • The quality is great—soft, lightweight, and hang to the ground BEAUTIFULLY. Final Thoughts These are exactly what I wanted for a light, airy look without sacrificing privacy. They’re stylish, high-quality, and super easy to hang. Perfect for anyone looking for sheer curtains that offer both elegance and practicality! There are days I want all the light I can get which these are perfect for, and days where I want to be in complete darkness which the blackout curtains are perfect for that.

I love these curtains! I was not expecting something this high quality for the price. They are made from a silky material. They are semi-sheer, letting in probably 40-50% of the light. This was necessary for us, as we have a lot of plants that have high light requirements. However, they provide 99% privacy, unlike most semi sheer curtains that are pretty much transluscent or transparent. I turned on the lights indoors at night and walked outside to look through -- you can only see silhouettes of things less than 5 inches away from the window. If something is more than 5 inches from the window, people can't even see a silhouette, which is absolutely incredible. These are equivalent to the Lumos curtains, which can cost $250+ per pair of curtains of equivalent size. For 10% of the price of Lumos curtains, you get something equivalent that provides almost full privacy yet all the light requirements. They DO NOT require any ironing or washing; they look great right out the box. My windows are about 100 inches wide; I bought 4 pairs per window for about $17 each pair (Amazon was running a sale for the cream yellow ones). In general, you want the total width of the curtains to be around double the width of the window. For example, if your window is 100 inches, you want the sum of all the panels to be 200+ inches, which requires at least 4 54 inch curtains. If your window is only 50 inches, you just need one pair. The colour is wonderful. I personally had wanted the beige curtains but my boyfriend vetoed me and chose cream instead, which I reluctantly agreed to. My house is full of wood panelling so it's dark, and I was worried that the cream would look too starkly different from the walls. Well, he was right. The cream is the perfect colour in this room. It adds a soft and inviting feel to the home. In general, if you want to play it safe, you want the curtain colour to differ from the wall colour slightly for some subtle contrast. So, if you have cream walls, choose ivory or beige. If you have white walls, choose cream. I usually recommend against white curtains because they can look dirty easily, but that's up to you. Additionally, white curtains will filter in a colder light, which may make your home look more sterile. If you want a warm, comfortable environment, choose something with yellow or orange undertones. If you choose coloured curtains, make sure that something in your room matches with it -- like a throw blanket, wall decor or furniture piece. Don't just choose coloured curtains for the hell of it. It will look bad aesthetically. Good luck. I highly recommend these curtains; they're the only semi sheer curtains that truly offer privacy on Amazon, as what I could find. Great price. I will probably buy more.

These are great. Blocks almost all visual from outside and, when the sun hits them, it lights up the room. You can see the shape of an illuminated lampshade from outside but not the people. Nice looking curtains. Make sure you know how to measure curtains before ordering. This says it gets returned a lot and mis-measuring is why.

Gorgeous curtains that allow light to come through but without sacrificing privacy. You cannot see through them as the fabric is a tighter weave. The fabric has a nice drape. Some other polyester curtains look like costume fabric, but these are so pretty. I have 4 sets of these curtains in white color. Two are for the living room, kitchen window and a hallway. Usually I went for linen-like texture curtains (which are see through close up) but moving to a 1st story apartment, I needed more privacy. Nicely sewn as well. I tossed into the dryer to remove wrinkles and lines, but steaming my help too. They are affordable, pretty and do their job.

I love these!!!! I would give it 5 stars but the second set I got had a tear right in the middle. I’m bummed I have to return and reorder. Other than that the product itself is beautiful!! They feel very nice and not cheap at all!

Works perfectly. Not see through but still let the light in. Good quality fabric. Light and silky. ETA so so so happy with these! Detailz for context: I frosted the patio doors so my dogs couldn’t see outside and bark at neighbors. But they still did. I have blackout curtains but hate having them closed all day long! I bought these so that I could still let the light in, but the dogs couldn’t see out and they work perfectly!

My two photos were taken about an hour after hanging these White HOMEIDEAS 52"W x 54"L panels. I haven't ironed them yet. Privacy level is perfectly adequate for a bedroom whose windows look onto a deck that can be busy with people. I hung these using a nearly 1" thick rod (rod is 0.9" wide with 1.3" wide end caps), purely because I prefer the look of a thicker rod here, especially since the rod pocket is a full 3 inches wide. I had started out looking for white seersucker curtain panels but just could not find them, sadly. These 100% Polyester panels provide the crisp white and airy feel I was looking for, at a fair price. 0.9" THICK ROD IN PHOTOS: "MEXAU 2 Pack White Tension Curtain Rod for Windows 28-48 inch" (ASIN: B0BWN85F32) for my 32" W windows. The only 'downside' to this product is that it came with a third optional segment that I don't need, but they don't sell a similar product for my 32 inch windows, that leaves out the third extension segment.

These curtains are great! Super easy to install and looks great in both my living room and bedroom. They let the perfect amount of light in without being see through. The color I picked looks just like the photo.

Lets enough light through to keep the room bright, but nobody can see in.

I have very reactive dogs that think they need to be on window duty ALL day. I wanted something that was light coloured, but not see through. Bingo! These did not fail me. I used 6 panels for my 100” window in pure white. Dogs are disappointed, however, this chicky is not!

These curtains let the light in but allow full privacy! i was hunting for awhile to find a curtain that is non sheer but still allows plenty of light. THESE ARE PERFECT! The quality is really good and the price even better.
