PowerTRC Perpetual Motion Sippy Dripping Drinking Bird (3 Packs) Original Vintage Retro Science Birds : desertcart.in: Toys & Games Review: I used to maintain my one of these as a kid about 50 years ago. So glad they are still around. Works on such clever balance of the elements physics, temperature, pressure and evaporation. Great talking point for adults or kids to understand what is going on. FYI, the when the fabric in the head is wet it evaporates and cools the top bubble where the head is, this causes the air inside to shrink in simple terms which draws the liquid up from bottom bubble, which after a while causes the centre of gravity to go to head then the bird tips and takes a drink (which keeps the head wet), but when it is horizontal the liquid falls back down the straw tube body back in the base and it all starts again as when upright there is a vacuum again... etc. Very cool whoever thought of it! Review: Was a gift - They loved it. Set it up and it works great!

My Grandparents had one of these on their refrigerator in the farmhouse back in the 60's or 70's. It's a simple, silly little thing, but brings me great pleasure. Kudos!

Although it came. I only got one. It said 3 but got one. All good Amazon rectified it. The one I got was as described and exactly what I wanted though.
