My first impression when I opened the box, was that they were cheap and flimsy. (I had been wearing a metal framed pair of glasses, and they were considerably heavier than these new glasses.) My NEW opinion of these glasses is that they are wonderful! They are much tougher than I had originally thought they would be. The value was a big plus, too. I usually run through them pretty quick, but I am still on the first pair. No scratches, no failures. 5 stars! Admittedly I havent tried the shaded pair yet.

Good quality, long-lasting spring flex hinges minimize breakage and help with comfort. The vision is outstandingly clear without any distortion, the lens coatings help with reducing scratches using reasonable care (rinse under water or spray lens cleaner and wipe with microfiber cloths). I bought a box last June, the first pair lasted over 4 months before scratches were visible enough to put on a new pair, then they went into the car. I haven't had any breakage with the 2 pairs I have used, my neighbor I shared the box with is still using her 1st pair.

Update: This seller refunded me right away without me even asking, very nice gesture. I just gladly bought them a different model set to give it a try. ---- Too fragile. All of them have broken at the base of the hinge, not the hinge itself, but between the hinge and the glass. This part is thin and fragile since there is no glass frame. They look good but be aware that you have store and handle them quite gently.

They fit well, they’re comfortable, they are all plastic (including the lenses), and therefore don’t have any pieces that will bend or become malformed and end up scratching my nose. They slip easily in my pant pocket and have yet to get scratched. For this value, I can leave a few around the house, one in the kitchen, one near my keys, etc. I’ve yet to purchase the same glasses when previous pairs have broken, or I’ve needed a new strength, because I like to always see if there’s a better fit out there. These, however, will likely be repurchased, due to the high value and comfort. Vision performance is just fine for me as well. I did have to tighten the screws after a few days of receiving and wearing them, but have not had to do so since then (about 1 month). I just went ahead and tightened all of them while I was at it. All in all, these could be considered disposable, but that’s only because they’re so inexpensive. The quality is perfect for my purposes which is everyday use—being able to read small print, reading my phone, and computer time.

They look good, fit fine, and the lens quality is good. That being said, the durability is ZERO. I need to have them with me all day and I'm going through a pair almost every week. The stems just fall apart (usually at the left temple). The price is good but I think I'm going to have to search elsewhere. :(

This is my second order of these! I tend to break the more costly glasses before getting my money’s worth, so I started trying some of the less pricey options out there (4-5 brands, each sold in packs of 4-6 glasses, in less than a year). They broke easily, screws feel out, lenses fell out, etc.. Then I tried these, and it’s been a game changer. They stay in place on my face. They’re lightweight and comfortable to wear for long periods. They’ve held up well. And I’m told they look better on me than the other options I’ve tried! Best of all, they’ve helped to decrease my screen time related headaches. I’ve only trashed two pairs from my first order (sat on one pair, stepped on another - nothing quality related) so I still have four pairs, but I reordered them like a prepper/hoarder because I like them so much and didn’t want to risk them being unavailable in the future.

You will get what you paid for. It's very brittle and break if not carefully. The vision is very clear and look good. Thanks

The arms break very easily. In 4 months all 4 pairs of the non tinted ones broke. I am teacher and use them to look at my notes while writing on the whiteboard. I have to take them off to look at my students and put them back on to write. Now I take them off an put them back on more than most but they still shouldn't break that easily. The last one broke just unfolding the arms to put them on my face. Probably okay purchase if you are sitting and reading and not taking them off and putting them on a ton of times.

The glasses are made of poor quality plastic and often break when opened.

If Guinness has a record for number of reading glasses tried and found to be so-so, I’d be in the book. Now my run is over. These are great! Lightweight, nose pieces are moulded, so won’t bend and break off, comfortable, anti computer glare/fatigue. Nice sharp optics. At $4 (Canadian) a pair I can’t believe how good they are! I’m buying another box, because just because I love them doesn’t mean I won’t misplace/lose them.

They are very nice glasses but they are extremely fragile. A few broke but the company reached out and replaced them. Amazing service.
