My dog is getting used to the taste, but he is a picky eater anyway because we made the mistake of allowing him to eat people food. So I always come up with tricks to get him to eat something and like it. So far, so good! My dog seems to be itching less so that is a huge plus! Seems to be a great product, thanks!

I’ve bought this product three times now, and I’m really impressed. The first time I tried the 60-day supply for my then 9-year-old Chow Chow mix, I noticed a dramatic improvement in his energy and vitality. After finishing that first batch, we went without it for a while, and I didn’t fully connect his energy levels to the supplement at the time. Now, as he’s about to turn 10, I decided to try a 30-day supply again, and once more, I saw a noticeable boost in his health. I just ordered another 60-day supply, and I’m convinced this is something I need to keep in my household. I’m extremely satisfied with the results and plan to make this a regular part of his routine.

This is my 1st time with Shield. So I can't honestly answer until we have used it for 60 days. However I use other Alpha dog products and I am very pleased with them.

I have been giving this to both my rescue Pit Bulls who have had cancer, skin allergies, heartworm, Lyme. Poor boys! I came across Alpha Shield and I should have done more research on this product. First off, there is no mention of how their mushrooms are processed or what part of the mushroom is used, only that they are processed in their own facility. This is very important for dogs with issues like mine or just any dog. Most other companies will tell you that they use 100% of the fruiting bodies or if they use Mycelium. The scoop that is provided when measured into a measuring spoon came out to a half of tablespoon which is way more than these dogs for their weight should get. They are 80 and 90lbs. Before I realized these red flags, I went on their website to see about buying this in bulk because it was only lasting 3 weeks for 2 dogs. I came across a 1.25 gallon container of it that I thought was reasonably priced. But like the jars on Amazon, after receiving the 1.25 gallon this was half full too. I called the company and was asking if they could tell me how they process the mushrooms and what part of the mushrooms they use. The owner WOULD NOT give me any information because she said it was a secret and she didn't want her competitors to know. She said they use the fruiting bodies but why not put that on the label. I wasn't asking for the recipe, just simple information that should have been answered if there was nothing to hide. That was a huge RED FLAG to me. I sent the gallon container back. I know that has nothing to do with buying from Amazon but it has a lot to do with how this company operates and will not disclose important information on their product that they want us to give to our dogs. Other shady things happened with their website that I am going to leave a review warning others to not buy this product! Please do your research before purchasing this.

Nice product. My dog didn't seem to like the taste on its own with kibble, but once mixed in with wet food she had no idea. Haven't seen a change in any lumps or bumps but probably need more time with the product. Will keep trying.

My dogs seem to be in better health. I have not had to take them to the vet for respiratory problems since the bad canine influenza about 2 winters ago.
