I ordered this after a charger from another brand did not function normally.I cannot say whether the batteries charge less or last a shorter duration than if used with another charger because I have nothing to compare it with.But this works as expected, meaning I put the batteries in the unit and the light comes on and it charges.I like that the display shows the level of charging in process.

Sony doesn't include an external battery charger with their Alpha A7iii model, several other models too. Batteries included sre slightly larger capacity, but not Sony and may not have the same longevity, only time will tell. This has a display which shows charge on each battery.

Very good battery, just not suitable for Sony Fx3

The charger is the biggest star. Charging 3 at once. The batteries powered both the a7s3 and a7iv with no issue.

I've been using these and have been happy with them. Seems as good as OEM, and much cheaper.

Normally I use OEM batteries but decided to take a chance with these. Glad I did as they work great and the 3 bay charger is outstanding.

When I first got the charger/batteries I noticed one battery doesn’t charge passed 80% in any port you charge it in. I said whatever I have another 5 batteries. In the past month I keep getting “use Sony battery” right before it shuts off while recording a clip. The clip becomes lost. It looks like when the battery drops below 50% my cam rejects it. I have the Sony A1. The charger works fine but these batteries have failed me in 2 days on 2 different gigs causing me to lose footage. Throwing the batteries away.
