Outstanding product. Ideal, easy to use, and it does what is designed to do
For someone with neck issues, joint or muscular, this neck device does wonders. I understand that levels of pain vary from person to person, depending on your injury. How you treat your injury makes a difference... What works for me, it may not work for you. I could not sleep well, I could not put my head down (or side of face down) without feeling pain, if I left my neck in one position too long my shoulders and arms went numb. Some benefits of this device:- stabilizes the neck and keeps it from slouching in effort to feel comfortable. When you slouch muscles get overused- As you inflate and stretches your neck you are able to find a comfortable level of therapy, 10 minutes is enough for me and I try to do it at least 1 or twice a day 2 to 3 times a week or as needed- The straps that secure the device to your neck are adjustable at different sizes and do not bother the neck- There is a valve that has a ball bearing that you can use to keep your device from deflating, is located high on the tube. Once set you don't have to worry about the device loosing its air (you see like a like a little hump on the air line)- I also like the fact that when I use it I can feel the joint stress and muscle strains alleviate and after 10 minutes my neck feels loose and relieved- However, do to injury, or just time has caught up to you (age), herniated disks, joint issues, arthritis, sports injury and the such is irreversible but treatable, this product is doing a banging job for me...

Firm support once familiar
DaviSmart Cervical Neck Inflatable Traction Device... does the trick, used for over a month now.Pros, Cons, Tips:Pro:* adjustable height up to long neck.* all around moderate support with some restriction, semi firm* pumps up with more than 20 pumps* stays inflated even for days - once you discover the trick* two velcro straps in front adjustable to hold firm* fuzzy covered is enough for comfort* once inflated, can be slipped off and on neck, not needing to re-inflate* good value for priceCon:* “chin” straps take some fumbling to get right every time* “chin” straps in front can rub if you don’t get them just right* when heavily inflated, can begin to lift up on earlobes* inflation bulb hangs and bounces around getting in the way (be creative)* obvious restriction of movement and therefore vision from restriction; not from being able to see around tubes. Okay for driving - carefully.* no, you can’t eat well with this on nor easily twist head around to see behind; but would you expect to?Tips:* Learn how to use the little bearing in the tube. When in place, the brace stays inflated even several days. Otherwise, it will deflate enough to have to pump up every five or ten minutes. The little “knob” in the tube contains a steel ball that can be squeezed into the downward part of the tube to block air in.* Be patient in feeling the position of velcro straps. They can dig in or stay away from chin and neck depending on how connected. Positioning for comfort here is more challenging.* Notice the brace can be worn so the the tube exits pointing down, providing less wear and more comfort.* And of course the all important - Don’t bend over the toilet to pull up your clothes. Guess where the inflation bulb ends up. :/It’s unfortunate that the seller doesn’t answer the common complaint about deflation with the simple solution with the ball-bearing. It is in the instructions, but still...Personal information: Used by tall male with long 15 - 15.5 inch neck. Longest worn for two hours. Used occasionally for 6 weeks before this review.

Helped with pinched nerve, comfortable!
This traction device is well constructed and surprisingly comfortable. It fit easily around both my husband's and my neck (200 lb 6' tall, 120 lb 5'6"). It doesn't put undue pressure under your chin or cheeks. It mostly lifts the back of your neck. It inflates slightly with each manual pump of the bulb. Twisting the metal knob on the bulb releases the air back out. When I inflate it to the maximum point I am comfortable with, it doesn't feel dramatic on my neck. It feels less intense than when a masseuse pulls on my neck, but I can still feel my head being lifted. It feels like your head has no gravity acting on it, which is subtle but a very nice relief of pressure. My husband had numbness from a pinched nerve and after using this for about 10 minutes, the numbness was relieved slightly. Overall, the device is a nice inexpensive way to make a daily, subtle difference in muscle tension and pain. I am guessing it wouldn't be dramatic relief for someone with serious pain. I would liken it to a good stretching or yoga session. You can lay down with it, but it seems to lose the effect of lifting your head. I'll probably use it for muscle aches and stiff neck, and to relax, not if I sustain an injury. I'm glad I bought it, as I like being able to use something for relaxation purposes.
