These are a much higher color temperature (bluer) than normal incandescents. This is not good or bad, just a matter of taste.However, it’s been less than six months and less than 15k miles and one of these is already burned out. It’s not a power supply issue - running the broken light on the working side’s power supply still results in a broken light. For what these cost I would expect an order of magnitude better longevity. Back to regular incandescents for me I guess.

We have a 2011 Chevy Traverse that was constantly burning out the low beam bulb because the driving lights are also the main low beam so lowers the service life quite a bit. I’ve tried all different brightness for replacement bulbs but to no avail. Decided to try these LED replacements and boy am I glad I did. They are so much brighter than the halogens and focused enough that they don’t disperse the light so much that it’s blinding to oncoming traffic. Have not had one car flash me yet. I’m pretty sure they’re brighter than the HIDs on my Audi. One draw back is that the cooling fan housing and extra wiring prevented me from screwing back the backcover to the headlamp unit. I hope that does not have a negative long term effect. And installation was plug and play easy! Highly recommended.

I bought these bulbs because my truck kept blowing the regular headlight bulbs and the only thing I could really figure out that would be causing it was to much power getting to the bulb. I figured I'd give these a try since they have a resistor built in and so far so good. These are nice bright bulbs that really light up the road way and the LED lights really make the road marking paint stand out so it's easier to see at night.

I like them at first because of the visibility at night but one of them became defective after just 6 months. I called their customer Service number to get a replacement bulb but there’s never anyone there to answer the phone. I’ve left several messages to no avail. At this point I’ll have to buy two new bulbs because these didn’t last very long. I’m very disappointed and would not recommend them

I have been using them since February and they work great.They are absolutely brighter than my OEM bulbs coupled with projector headlights, and they help tremendously at night.They have a clear white illumination.I would say that cars with projector headlights will benefit the most with these bulbs.

2018 Mazda CX3 Sport uses H11 bulbs for low beam and 9005 bulbs for high beam. I purchased both JDM ASTAR LEDs. Installation was a breeze. Probably took me 30 mins max. I credit the design of the car too as there’s so much room to work on 😀. Anyway, the bulbs work fine they are plug-n-play. The illumination was way better compared to the stock bulbs.

Both bulbs quit working 2 weeks after 1yr warranty, within 1 week of each other. Most reputable manufactures give a 3yr warranty. These bulbs are not as bright as my halogens were. I would not recommend or buy these again.

UPDATED: One lamp stop working after ~18months of use.Great product! Seriously! Improves night visibility dramatically. Easy installation. GREAT Customer support - I had few questions on installation and application and all questions have been answers quickly and completely.Highly recommended!

I only gave 1 star because there wasn't any negative stars as an option. This is NOT GENUINE JDM ASTAR product. The lights failed after 8 months, and even though they stated a one year warranty they refused to do anything. I ended up calling JDM ASTAR who told me these were not an authorized resaler, and if they had been they should be able to follow through on the JDM one year warranty.Dont buy these lights.
