useful and works
it was recommended to me by the pest control company I used. It was easy enough to install and gives me peace of mind that it is keeping rodents out. Would have preferred that it included the right sized tube of adhesive or screws, as it was a bit of a faff trying to get that separately after I received the mesh. I ended up buying adhesive which was fine but wasteful as i only used a bit of it to stick it on. The mesh was sent without additional packaging which was fine, except that they stuck the address label on top of the instructions of use - not very helpful - I held it up towards the light and the writing came through but - a bit more thought/consideration when putting the label on would be nice.

Seems like a good product.
I ordered two types of cover, the ones with the plastic frames to go over the air bricks inside the house and the stainless steel framed anti rat ones for the external air bricks. Both products seem to be sturdy and well made and hopefully should do the job. With the anti rat covers, in theory I needed the small size but decided to buy the medium sized ones because I wanted to give myself a bit of wiggle room when fitting and I was right to do so because I found that the screw holes were very close to or actually on the edge of the air brick and drilling into it can be tricky. Hence the four stars Instead of five; the screw holes could do with being a little bit further apart, and the whole thing a bit wider. Also my brickwork isn't dead flat so using the larger size enabled me to find the flattest bit of wall. I still found that in a few places there were little gaps where something might be able to get in so I decided to use an anti rodent sealant as well as the screws. This is a silicone mixed with fibres of steel wool which the makers claim mice and rats can't chew through. This might sound obvious but when applying it it's easiest to mark the position where the cover is going to go and put the sealant directly onto the wall (rather than onto the back of the frame) and then press the cover onto it before screwing into place. I then applied more sealant around the outer edge. The internal ones were much easier to fit as I used a construction adhesive.

My recipe for getting rid of your mice
I would recommend this product it definitely keeps the mice out, they are very neat to look at so not unsightly on the house. Make sure you order enough to cover all the airbricks around the house, I missed an air hole and had to reorder and as a consequence incurred (what I considered to be a hefty postage charge (my own fault). I also peppermint oil which I placed on cotton wool and blocked their holes with them and then placed wire wool on top to completely block the holes. The mice absolutely hates peppermint oil as it must burns their eyes. I then purchased two ADVANCED PLUG IN - Vermatik 6 IN 1 Ultrasonic/Electromagnetic Rat/Mouse/Insect Repeller by VERMATIK PEST CONTROL and plugged them in the rooms where they were most prevalent. After all my activities above I finally managed to get rid of them. I have been clear of mice now or 8 months. PS prior to all the above managed to catch a few on the sticky tapes, but it was awful as they were still alive and I had to take them out whilst they were screaming.

Great product.
Perfect size for my airbricks. Seems well made, and looks like it will last. As in the photo, brickwork is never completely flush, so where the mortar joints are, just use exterior translucent silicone all around. So it's completely sealed. We're in a detached house, and next to fields, so even though we've never had issues with field mice, during winter it's best to be cautious as they always seek warm places. Prevention is better and a lot cheaper than waiting until you have a mouse problem !

Great product
We tried cut mesh at first but was very flimsy and asthetically looked shabby on outside of the house. This product is sturdy. The mesh is stong and looks tidy when fiited. I used no nails to fit it and then sealed around the unit. Far easier than drilling 4 holes.. Top product

Keeps furry friends out.......
We discovered to our horror that we had acquired mice in the cupboard under our stairs. The mice had had a great time burrowing into every packet of food that they could find and did not seem too fussy about where they relieved themselves. Something had to be done! When you have mice it can be difficult to be 100% sure about how they got into the house. In this instance the obvious entrance was via an airbrick. The Mousemesh cover has done a good job of blocking the airbrick to exclude rodents. It is reasonably well made and was not too difficult to fit. The cover is good but with a few changes it could have been great. When you screw the cover to an external wall you have to drill four holes into probably irregular brickwork very accurately. Fitting the cover would have been much easier if the cover came in two parts; the top cover (mesh) and a bottom piece which is screwed to the wall. The bottom piece could have "slots" to accommodate the screws rather than holes making ultra accurate drilling unnecessary. The cover would benefit from a soft foam collar against the wall to ensure a snug fit when faced with irregular brickwork. Mice can get through surprisingly small holes! The cover is intended to fit against an airbrick. Would it be beyond the wit of man to devise an attachment system that has prongs that push into the airbrick holes? No gluing or screwing. Simples!

Good quality product
Good product sturdy and colour is as shown. I installed 15 of these for a customer with no issue. If I had to find a negative point there are 2. 1. The inside edge is thinner than the usual brand I use so you have to have a steady hand if applying silicone adhesive. 2. We buy similar from another supplier who are cheaper yet they also supply screws and wall plugs with their covers. But they didn’t have the buff colour. I’d still use these again if I can’t find the buff colour, but 5 stars given as it is completely as it is described. but hey guys consider including screws for this price please.
