Great price, great product
I don't know if I can post this here, but if I can't, I guess Amazon will edit -- I am just learning how to do paper crafting, and I love it, but you use a lot of glue sticks -- so I came to Amazon to purchase some and saw their generic brand -- and -- I clicked on one of the links below which had a cheaper price -- and maybe somebody returned it, I don't know; it said there might be some package damage -- and it was a lot less money, so I clicked -- fast -- and when they arrived, they were perfect -- and shipped by Prime -- I cannot be happier -- I had previously purchased some of the Gorilla glue sticks that were supposed to be awesome and stick to paper and fabric (which is what I need) -- well, they did not, and Amazon immediately took care of the issue for me. I also thank Amazon for working through this terrible time. I'm in the No. 1 category that if I get the virus, I'm a goner -- so I've been in lockdown since March -- Amazon has literally been a life saver -- I have cats, and I've been able to get cat food and litter and just everything else we need, and we have prime, so the delivery is always so fast and free -- the drivers are great when they come -- I can't thank them enough -- but I cannot say they hold down permanently fabric against paper (making tags) because what I do is, glue everything down, and then when it dries, I run it through my sewing machine -- and doing that, I've had zero issues and all of the paper crafts have zero issues !!! I only added that part about the fabric because I have no experience -- and with fabric, if I had the best glue on the planet, I would still sew it -- I will definitely reorder, but you get so many, it will be awhile -- : )

Me and my students highly approve!
I bought these because my students ran through the supply of Elmers glue sticks the school given me. I know younger children tend to waste things like glue (and don't get me started on middle schoolers stealing bottled glue to make slime), but I teach high school. Teenagers tend to be more conservative with their use (and don't stick the glue sticks to the ceiling or to the inside of the glue stick cap like middle schoolers). However, items glued into their class notebooks, or on projects, fell off (sometimes within an hour of sticking them on). It got so bad some students were filling in the entire back of their papers just to make them stick longer. And, I think that happened with every English teacher because our supply ceased to exist before the end of the first semester. We're talking hundreds of name brand glue sticks gone at a time when admin get a little tight with the budget.Which left me buying my own glue sticks.I saw this deal on Amazon, and figured that if the brand name sticks sucked, these couldn't be much worse. But, I was pleasantly surprised. Students instantly commented on how well their things stayed put, and project stuck together. The bond isn't Gorilla Glue strong, but is serviceable enough for high school projects. I pulled 28 out of my box of 60 and haven't needed to dip back into my stash. Over the last couple months, I've done several glue-intensive projects with them, but there's still plenty left over for more! Will totally buy again (although, it may take me awhile to run though what I have already--unless I'm suddenly transferred to a middle school), even if the school provides me with a supply of Elmers. I'm leaving those things to collect dust and molder in the back a closet somewhere.

Thank you
There are always children who don't have the school supplies that they need so I like to donate what I can. I was thrilled to see these at such a good price because it allows me to buy more and help more kids. I also know that I can trust the Amazonbasics brand to be high quality.

Good for kids, so-so for adults
The glue is better than so-so, a great value, but not the ultimate best.I'm buying 60 more today in March after going through 22 of them since October. I don't know if that's good or bad, but I use a LOT for collage on paper and collage on items around the house. It's intended to organize little bits of paper to other paper first and then while designing, it needs to secure things first, before I use a clear spray to protect, but the adhesion still needs to be top notch.I find sometimes this glue doesn't stick as well as Elmer's purple sticks. I found the adhesion from one drag of the stick was not a 5star, more of a 4 star.Because of that, I'm now routinely going over some things 2-4 times with the Amazon stick which can then leave ridges because of too much glue. I then have to work fast to roll it out or set a heavy book on it *IF* it's a first and flat layer of paper. Otherwise just hope it looks good -- and so I tend to go back to the purple stick for the actual art.Aside from that occasionally frustrating inconvenience, I like the glue well enough and the price point is phenomenal.Note: I worry about the future in that if the glue lets go as it ages - and my guess is that it will - so until I've seen it hold for years, I've decided only to use it for certain things like my tiny magazine and newspaper cutouts that I organize and protect by pasting them onto paper in a binder. These sticks are perfect for that and I go through a ton of glue sticks just for the clippings I make like a serial killer 😂

Not your average glue stick
What I liked about this glue stick was the adhesion it was so much stronger then all the other glue sticks I've tried in the past including crayola brands and elmers and dollar store brands. There was nothing to hate about it, unit price was affordable and worth every penny. My daughter and I used them for crafts once covid-19 started so I could tutor/teach from home.

Fairly long-lasting considering they are used by over 200 students daily
I was pleasantly surprised by these glue sticks. My students use glue sticks fairly frequently for their notebooks, and I am surprised with how long they are lasting (compared to off brands I've used as well as name brands). They were inexpensive, too. I will definitely reorder more when these are used up. And in case you're wondering, the glue holds with no complaining by my students! Great purchase!

Glue Sticks that don't Stick!
These glue sticks were awful! I only wanted them to stick paper worksheets into books but half the time they didn't adhere at all. Very stressful in a busy classroom environment.
