Simple, efficient, non-intrusive
I used to have an over the counter filter. Had to change that filter every year and a half or so. Since my new apartment cannot accomodate an over the counter filter, I searched and searched for a solution that is efficinet and not cumbersome . This was it. The only drawback, but that is only for me, is that I am a renter and had to get permission and have it installed by the Building Management and I was overcharged for installing it ($250). This issue only pertains to me. But I am so relieved to have it as I used to lug gallons from the store almost daily. I am 75...and other than time, the effort also was a challenge. I did not want to become member of those gallon-companies...as I could not tlift those. I did not want a Britta because that felt like the slow boat to China and also water had to be refrigerated (I prefer room temperature). This one has one cylinder (does not filter Flouride) but lasts for approximately 3-years. YIPPEE. I have consideration about changing the filter when the time comes because I am not sure I can do it or I have to get those Building vendors who are exploiters. I am praying that by the time that time comes, some easy harmonious solution will present itself. For now, I am a happy camper and do recommend this filter - if you are not a perfectionist and wanted a Reverse Osmosis or Alkaline water...then that would be another story! This one is enough and our city water is clean generally and they make sure it is - but this is an extra refinement of taste and filtering out some more stuff.

Great customer service
Excellent customer service. My water filtration mounting head leaked when the replacement cartridge was installed, and the company sent me a replacement mounting head promptly, which resolved the issue. This is a very good system.

First year report: We LOVE the Woder system
Bought the Woder 10K-GenII Ultra High Capacity Direct Connect Water Filtration System - Under Sink Filter Premium Class I - Removes Chlorine, Lead, Chromium 6, Heavy Metals, Bad Tastes, Odors And Contaminants last fall, and just had to change out our filter for the first time (it lasted 11 months). The flow didn't diminish over time, but suddenly we could taste the chlorine in the water again. Switching out to a new replacement filter took < 5 minutes, it was so easy – and now our water tastes 100% amazing again! I thought we might get more than a year out of the filter with this system, but because it's on our kitchen sink and we use it for everything (including cooking, washing, etc), so it was less time. But, we are still absolutely thrilled with the Woder system versus having to deal with the Pur or Brita pitchers like we used to, which don't even purify the water nearly as well (per the specs). By contrast, the Woder is seamless and so super-easy for everything, and nearly zero hassle! The old PUR dispenser we had took about 2 minutes of our family's time per day (on average) in dealing with all the filling, cleaning, and filter-replacing. Multiply that by 330 and then divide by 60. That's about *11 hours* of our lives that have been saved over the past year by having the Woder instead! A no-brainer over pitchers. Highly, highly recommended.

Great prioce good quality easy to install
We live in Santa Fe, New Mexico and the water here has a huge amount of red soil sediment which makes the municiple water taste aweful on top of the chlorine taste. We bought this under the sink model because the description when we first bought it stated it would remove sediment. It works great, it removed the sediment and the chlorine plus the other stuff it claims. Our city does not add fluoride to the drinking water so that was not our main concern. We also needed to get away from buying bottled water and going out to buy it not to mention all of the lifting. Love the freedom of good tasting water right from our kitchen faucet!! However, because our municiple water has so much red soil sediment the filter does not last two years for us. At about one year we started to notice the taste change and had to replace the filter every year. Great price good quality easy to install.

Easy to install
The Woder filters appear to be a product of high quality. They are as easy to install as their description claim. I purchased the Woder water filter system and replacement filter to connect to a new dual faucet with a dedicated RO faucet. The installation was simple and straight forward. The filter delivers very high-pressure water to the RO faucet. This high water flow is great when you're filling a large cooking pot or refilling a water cooler bottle. At first, the filter will deliver very cloudy water, because in the manufacture of the filters they are filled with air. The cloudiness of the water is actually 5 micron-sized air bubbles which will dissipate in a month or more with use. The taste of the water is immediately improved. I performed a side by side taste test with some bottled water that I had purchased. I could not distinguish any difference between the commercially bottled water and the water from the Woder water filter system. I'm so satisfied with the Wooder water filters, that I'm installing one on the water supply line to my refrigerator. I'm especially happy to support an American company, who are manufacturing their high-quality product in America.

New cartridge installed
Great water filter. I have this installed under our kitchen sink. The filtered water supplies the refrigerator and a dedicated water faucet on the kitchen counter. The installation of a new filter is so easy, unscrew the old, screw in the new, done. I write on the white filter with a black Sharpie pen the date installed. This gives me a reference as to when I'll need to replace next. I replace the filter ever two years. This sequence works for us, just two people in the house. I recommend this product, 110% pleased.
