I plan to keep this in my purse so when I'm out antiquing I can test glass to see if it glows and look for flaws in items that are not visible to the naked eye. I tested this on glass that I know has uranium and glows and this light made it glow in plain daylight. I'm not sure how to determine how powerful the light is, but it worked. I love that the flashlight is small and compact and that it comes with a hard plastic case and a charging cord. I love the USB charging feature -- I always have my portable phone charger with me, so I never need to worry about replacing batteries in this light. Not batteries also reduces the weight of the flashlight too and it is much more compact than the black light flashlight I use at home. It is a very nice little black light and perfect for my needs.

Not as bright as I had hoped and battery doesn’t last long.. but for the cost I’d say it’s worth it.

We thought we might have mice in our house and this light was the perfect tool to search for evidence. The light is surprisingly powerful considering how small it is. It came in a small, padded, hard plastic case as well to conveniently store it. The price point is really good too. Would highly recommend it if you are in need of a powerful, portable black light source.
