Betty Crocker Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes, 4 ounces (Pack of 8)

I bought these because we love Yukon Gold potatoes and their distinct flavor. Unfortunately, stores where we live don't carry them any more. These were an absolute hit and so easy to prepare. You do have to watch and stir in the butter and potato flakes, however....slowly. If you want them more creamy, just add more milk. Delicious and so fast to make. Garnish to your own taste. Thanks, Amazon for making these available! We will buy again!!!

I like the size of the package that the potato flakes comes in. We are a two person household. There is enough potato to satisfy two hungry people or four people of average hunger. It is quick to make and tastes great. I have purchased the box of multiple packages so that I can always have it on hand. By purchasing this way, I don't have a large opened box that is sitting around until I decide to use it again. Because I am not having to throw out a large box of old, stale flakes, this is an even better value! It is always fresh. It is also convenient to use if you enjoy making home made potato bread.

I really love these mashed potatoes. They are head and shoulders above any others I have ever bought. Creamy and tasty!

This was almost effortless to prepare and is good to have in your kitchen cupboard. I skipped the butter and, instead, added a teaspoon of EVOO, and these Yukon Gold mashed potatoes were like fluffy clouds and divinely delicious. To my liking, there could have been a little less sodium but, otherwise, these tasted as though they were made from peeled, boiled, and mashed whole potatoes. I'm sure they would be incredible with the addition of butter and gravy, however, they were scrumptious even plain. I had a feeling these would be fabulous because in the past I had ordered Betty Crocker buttermilk pancake mix, which was equally fantastic.

I prefer the baby reds and the loaded potatoes but since I adore homemade Yukon gold I decided to give these a try. They are a little plain compared to the other flavors by Idahoan. Not my favorite and not the really creamy flavor of Yukon gold since they are a blend of Yukon and russet potatoes. They are good for instant potatoes, however, but I would still recommend making your own Yukons by scratch if you are craving the creaminess of Yukon Gold potatoes or buying a different flavor of Idahoan, like the Baby Reds or Loaded potatoes if instant is the way you are gonna go.
