Royal Doulton Gordon Ramsay Bread Street 16 Pc Dinnerware Set, White

I love this range, but the box arrived with one broken dinner plate and one broken bowl. I found it difficult to locate any facility on Amazon for reporting this other than making a return, but eventually found a call back option. The matter was dealt with extremely promptly and I received an entire new set as a replacement. One delighted customer!

Purchased for our son and daughter in law for Christmas.

After buying lots of cheap sets from supermarkets that were poor quality, heavy and badly made, I looked at the better quality brands to try and find something decent. Although these are nice plates and well designed, the quality of them is no better. The box says they are made in China, which is disappointing for the price, and it’s hard to find out what the material is. These are stoneware and at £150 made in China I would have expected something better quality like porcelain. The quality control is also not great. You can see the kiln marks underneath and the glove on every item has inconsistencies. Again, it’s not really acceptable at this price and not what you would expect from a decent brand. They are more like seconds (but the seconds from portmeirion group are better quality than these in material and finish). It’s a nice enough set but more next/m&s. Typical of a taken over brand being used for its name.

Really looking forward to using this dinner set, so very disappointed in terms of the state in which it arrived. I hope the replacement is in better condition when it finally gets to me!

Now had in use for some time and pleased to say I'm not disappointed Replaced our M&S set purchased years ago and happy with choice.

Plates all broken. Had to return and reorder

A little expensive but very good quality

LOVE LOVE LOVE. simple, elegant, very well made. Addendum: I own set three sets now and have had two sets replaced as two sets each had a shattered dish in them.. So five shipments in all. Two of the five shipments arrived intact. Three did not. This latest one has a dish with a large chip in it. I have not sent it back as frankly, the odds are not great that i'll get a whole set next time either. It's a pity because the dinnerware is beautiful. So, five stars for the item, two stars for the condition upon arrival and five stars for customer service at Amazon.

This dinnerware set is exactly what I was looking for. Good sizes, not too heavy but solid, fit in my dishwasher and stack well in my cupboard. I'll never get tired of the look

Habe das Geschirr angelockt vom Design gekauft. Bei dem verhältnismäßig hohen Preis, habe ich angenommen Porzellan zu kaufen. Meine Naivität wurde bestraft - Steingut. Ich empfinde das Geschirr als ein wenig gräulicher als abgebildet, nutze es täglich und bin damit mittelmäßig zufrieden. Ärgernis zum Start: Bei der Anlieferung war ein Teller kaputt. Hier könnte man bei der Verpackung durchaus ein wenig mehr investieren. Gebrauchstest: Nach bald zwei Jahren zeigen sich doch recht viele Gebrauchsspuren und ich malträtiere das Geschirr nicht mit rauen Schwammseiten oder ähnlichem. Nervig ist auch - Stichwort naiver Käufer, dass die "Suppenteller" nicht so recht platzsparend in die Spülmaschnie passen. Dafür kann natürlich das Geschirr nicht viel, sondern der Käufer. Vor allem aufgrund der Schwächen im Material würde ich diesen Kauf bei dem gegeben Preis nicht noch einmal tätigen.

El borde gris pintado en los platos grandes y pequeños es irregular. En algunos platos es más grueso que en otros. Incluso en un mismo plato, hay irregularidades. Tratándose de una vajilla avalada por Gordon Ramsay (está su foto en la caja), me esperaba que fuera de altísima calidad, pero como puede verse en la foto que adjunto, estamos ante una vajilla "made in china" (lo pone en un lado de la caja, y en tamaño mini por supuesto) que deja mucho que desear. ¡Devuelta!
