I researched a lot of different laptop stands before deciding on this one, and I am very pleased with my purchase. This product is sturdy, so I don’t worry about my screen falling or being accidentally knocked off. Unlike other stands I looked at that were made of plastic, this one is metal with a solid base that keeps it very stable during use. It has the ability to adjust the height and tilt positions to whatever best suits the user. It also collapses down into a relatively flat position that allows it to be portable for travel, etc., However, because it is metal, it is heavier than many other laptop stands on the market. That said, it looks very professional, and is appropriate for home or business office use. I have used it for my iPad on occasion, but primarily use it to hold the screen of my MS Surface Pro Laptop that is connected to a second monitor, thus allowing me to have dual monitors at similar heights while I am working.

This does everything it is described to do!The joints have been described as quite stiff (and indeed they are) but I personally feel this is a PLUS, as I feel this is far preferable than laptop stand that doesn't hold its position, especially when you have at a steep angle to raise the laptop screen up to one's eye level (and/or have a relatively heavy laptop)Would fully recommend this stand to everyone, unless you really need an "easy to adjust with minimal force" stand (and is thus willing to accept the stand's position potentially shifting) or only need a stand that will ONLY be used to hold something relatively light (like an ipad pro).2 months on - the joints are still nice and strong (stiff). Hence It is great for positioning a laptop so that the screen is at eye level. I have just ordered another on the Prime Day sale :-)

This is absolutely a 5 star item, high quality, sturdy, no dipping or falling or sagging. I bought this in October 2022 and it's held my 14" laptop ever since I pulled it from the box. Not a single issue. Very strong, you will have to use both hands to pull it into position. I had to take the laptop off a few times to adjust the angle when 1st setting it up and it's been perfect ever since. I'm going to purchase a 2nd one for my wife to use with her iPad. This will make your laptop/tablet desk usage 100x better and it looks pretty sleek but simple, excellent design and construction. HIGHLY recommended. I also believe this will make an excellent tool to fight zombies if/when that happens, it weighs a good amount and is full metal. Get one ASAP!Update 6/24/2023: Wife has had hers for a few weeks and gives it 5 stars. 2nd laptop stand was just as sturdy as the first, packaged just as well too. I can't recommend this stand enough.

I was surprised just how solid and adjustable this stand was. Very easy to adjust the height and angle of the stand, and yet it remains very sturdy. Quite pleased I chose this stand over some of the other options out there.

So, this stand is heavier than the BoYata by a lot, the color is nicer, it has rubber grips in all the right places, and QC is great because all rubber grips are installed perfectly. The amount of force required to readjust this stand is the same as for the BoYata one. It's super sturdy, and I have no doubt it can hold a heavy 17" laptop without issue. I'm using this for a Galaxy Tab, as I need a stand that is truly stable and can hold the tab in landscape mode, too. This one does the job, and looks a lot nicer in person than in pictures. The top portion is not too big so it's not an eyesore, and the holes make it less bothersome to look at.My only complain is some small scuffs on the paint in the back of the top portion, but they aren't visible.I'm really satisfied with this product, and would buy again. I didn't go for the rotating one because I fear it would rotate accidentally for my use case, which isn't good.
