I was trying to count the swings on a muti meter. Was running me crazy. I thought there must be something they sell that works well. This is automatic sends single to computer to start test . The computer runs the engine through testing everything and shows you the code. Engine on running test and key on engine off test . I have used it many times and it’s working fine. Everything seemed to match what it looked like in the photo(s) that the seller uploaded on Amazon.com and, my package delivery arrived at my doorstep reasonably on-time. The bubble packaging wasn't damaged. Worked out well with fixing my old 1997 motor vehicle. Thank You. :-)

Performs tests very good. Only problem I came across was the second time I went to connect the extension cable I noticed the prongs tend to slide down inside it. Or shall I say move down to where I have to pull them back out again. I don't think it's supposed to do this but I have to very carefully wiggle the cable over the prongs on the unit so they don't push down. I noticed this after it failed to read after the second time using it. Maybe I got a defective one? It's useable but I'm a bit unhappy that it does this.
