This particular scent or fragrance smells EXACTLY like Coppertone lotion.
"Solar Power" is the first Phlur scent that I have truly disliked. I wear, or have worn, Tangerine Boy (love it), Father Figure (really love it and get lots of compliments), Apricot Privee (like it), and Somebody Wood (very nice, but also very heavy - probably more for an evening out than just a day at the office or at home). Solar Power smells exactly like Coppertone Suntan Lotion. If I'd wanted to smell like I just walked off the beach covered in sand, I would have saved lots of money by buying the latter. Definite notes of Coppertone - that is all I smell.

Retro smell but not in a good way
I’ve usually always liked the majority of Phlur’s scents but this one to me reminds me of 80’s hairspray. Would rank this at the bottom for sure.

I think it makes sense they are discontinuing this scent, they have so many newer perfumes that have more complex notes, this one doesnt really seem to align with Phlur's current fragrance profiles anymore. Its definitely not bad, it smells okay. But not amazing. It isnt as complex as I thought it would be. It smells kind of flat and one-note. Mostly like bergamot. I don't get any skin-musk, depth, or warmth. It smells mostly herby and medicinal, which gives it an odd masculinity. It low-key gives expensive bug spray imo. But, get it before it's gone forever, if you like that sort of thing.
