Pet electric heat pad in soft vinyl material, suitable to place under your pets blanket or bed as seen on the picture for lasting warmth. Used by vets and kennels. Keep your pet warm and use under a light blanket, will cut off if it gets too hot so do not insulate too much. Will maintain a constant heat when used in cooler places like in sheds, kennels, rescue centres or at night when the heating is off. The pet heat pad is ideal for puppies, dogs, cats, other animals requiring some warmth or animals needing pain relief from aching joints or injuries.

Fine for cats though
My elderly cat soon got used to this and spends most of the day curled up on it.The only minus is that I'm not sure the armouring on the cable would stop a determined dog. Fine for cats though.I like the thermostat. I set it on 35 which seems to be fine.additional comment - the element went on this one a year later and I mailed the supplier who replaced the mat without a quibble so I cannot fault the supplier - excellent service

Good quality and works as one might expect
Good quality and works as one might expect. Only thing is that the temperature is adjustable in minimum increments of 5 degrees celcius...but the cat doesn't notice so thats ok!I am pleased with the heat pad and so is my old cat.

easy to control temperature without disturbing him
Elderly cat loves this heat pad... easy to control temperature without disturbing him.The rubber logo on the corner is a little too chunky so need a double layer of blanket over it for comfort.

Hedgehog Heat Mat
I bought this heat mat for my Pygmy hedgehog, it does what it was intended to do altho im a little disapointed that the lcd readout doesnt tell you the actual temp just what you set it at. had i known this i would have bought the one without the lcd display.

Keeps the old cat warm as toast..without toasting.
We put this on for our ageing cat every night over winter, and he is very appreciative of it.A decent level of quality, which makes you trust that it's not going to set your house on fire,Would benefit from a timer system, but we just use a wall plug timer instead.

worked for a year
had it for just over a year, and it's just stopped working : (

Lovely item
I got this for my dog who has developed arthritis in her back knee. She had surgery and I noticed she seemed to be limping a lot. It didn't take her long to realise that the warmth from the pad helps ease her pain and she heads straight for it when she has a flare up. Her limping seems to be much improved too.
