I've had no issues with my finger print reader, the film over it hasn't shown any signs of wear either after several months of use. The case is easy to assemble, it literally just seals together around your phone. Just have to make sure all the sides and corners are pressed together all the way. Sound is definitely muffled by the case, but opening the charger port and headphone Jack does help. Not an issue for me really since I use headphones half the time or subtitles. I dropped it the first day having it and many other times after that and my phone isn't cracked or damaged in anyway. I actually prefer this case to the last one I had, similar to this one but not water proof and the stylus could pop out completely if I dropped it.I do not know if it's safe to completely submerge under water, but I have taken it in the shower several times without an issue. I just make sure everything's sealed right before I do so just in case.The screen does take more pressure to type with, especially with the pen. Something that I got used to quickly and was already partially accustom too from my last case. Camera quality isn't taken down due to the case either.Worth the money.

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and needed a case to protect my investment. Not having much success with the expensive $50.00 screen protector (Which would not adhere to the curved edged screen and interfered with the touch screen) and a $47.00 case that I brought at a retail store. I decided to give the Fansteck waterproof case a try.This case is a quality product that protects and encased the phone without compromising any of the phone's features or accessibility to the phone's ports. Installation was a snap and a headphone extension jack and lynard are included. In the enclosed case sound quality and phone conversations are crystal clear. The touch screen works flawlessly and I'm writing this review on my Note 8 enclosed inside the Fansteck case. An excellent value and a well thought out design.I was so impressed with the quality and performance of this case I ordered two more. A spare and one for my girlfriend who upon seeing and trying this case wanted one too. (In Purple)I shelled out almost a $100.00 for two pieces of plastic that didn't work or protect my phone. For under $20.00, buying the Fansteck waterproof case is a no brainer.

The case does the one main job of keeping the phone water tight, very well. I used this case for many months and actually became a fan of the wrist strap, the durability feel of it and the added grip a lot. Unfortunately the more I used it, I realized a major flaw with the case and maybe more water tight cases, using the phone calling portion is a crap shoot. 90% of the time either I could be barely heard (been told it sounds like I'm talking in a cave), they could hear their voice loudly and thought it was on speaker, or I couldn't hear them very well. If you don't make a lot of calls or use wireless options, then this is a good case, if not, maybe a less protective option is better.

Encases my phone perfectly and protects it from drops and scratches. There is some sound lose from your speaker, but that is to be expected, its waterproof! Just don't put your phone calls on speaker, I've been told that it sounds really bad on the other end. The S Pen is easy to get to, yes you have to use your pinky to push it in and eject it but its much better then other cases that I have used.

I ordered this case to replace my Supcase Beetle for the Note 8. I was impressed with the description, so I ordered a black case and a blue case (we have two Note 8 phones). They came within 2 days using Prime.Installation was a breeze. I setup the blue case first, easy peazy. The next day, I finally installed the black case on my phone. I noticed that my black case also included a headphone extension cable that allows the case to remain waterproof.I contacted the seller about the fact that this was missing with the blue case, and immediately it was rectified.I highly recommend these cases as they are super responsive to touch, which is why I was replacing my previous cases. The S-Pen is protected from accidental drops and losses, because there is a protective flap. The back is Crystal clear so that you can see the actual back of your phone. The cameras and fingerprint sensor are also protected. I truly love everything about these cases, and can't say enough about the seller for being so Johnny-on-the-spot about resolving a packing oversight. I know that this review is a bit long, but I just wanted to mention why I purchased this case and would recommend it for every Note 8 owner who is looking for a case that is classy as well as protective.

Sure this case was waterproof but other than that it was useless in the water. Once submerged, the screen does everything you DON'T want it to do. The water would activate all the buttons so random apps would pop up, the camera screen would just zoom in and out on its own, at one point I almost bought something by accident. Other than that it works fine as just a protective (out of the water) case. I purchased this solely for the waterproof aspect for my vacation. That isn't happening now.Update: Seller has been great in dealing with this purchase. They took care of me nicely. Thank you for the good customer service.

Sound will not be that great, so get a Bluetooth speaker to carry around if u love to watch or listen to stuff. Protection is out standing. Second case, the first one was able to take 17 drops on concrete and just 17 hrs of non stop use. Only reason I replaced it was because the scratches on the screen. Product is great, price point is great. Pick up a couple on ur first order. Also, fix in Pockets extremely smooth and no extra bulk!
