RacerStar 35A 4in1 ESC 3-6S Special Edition with Current Sensor DShot600

I want to start off by saying that this product seems to fit a niche that seems to be unrivaled. I have owned 3 of these, and 2 out of three came broken. Both of these had the same esc burn up, on the bench with no props or load. This, sucks, since I am 14 and 50$ is a whole lot of money to continually blow on the same part. The other problems with the board, are that it is not intuitively designed at all. It is extremely difficult to solder to the pads for the battery leads without bridging the solder on the capacitors and resistors, and , on my most recent one, the pads easily ripped off on motor 3. I am so tired of these and am looking for a different solution as I type. DO NOT BUY

This ESC has been put through a lot of abuse and is having no issues. I updated to the latest BL_Heli-S and it has been great. The input wiring harness is good quality silicone, but I found the battery solder pads to be a little awkward to solder to. They're nice and strong, though.I did have to take one star off because of the mounting holes. The inside of the holes are connected to the battery ground and that caused me all sorts of issues when I first set it up. I put rubber inserts in the mounting holes (you can also use nylon screws instead) and all was well, but it is something to be aware of if you're using metal screws to hold this to your carbon frame.

Installed into my build relatively easily. Still going strong after approximately 10 flights.

Not so good...at least not the one i received. I get mixed reviews on Racestar product on web and word of mouth but the price is pretty good so I took a chance and fell flat on my face. I installed this 4in1 ESC on my Karearea drone frame and first flight the motors desync and caused it to crash.I spend a day troubleshooting the problem. swapped in all 4 new motors. didn't help. I've swapped in a new flight control. that didn't help. disconnected all my other electronics (Cam, VTX, LED) and flew line of sight. again quad would flip out of control. Installed back my original 4in1 (lower Amp rating) and issue was gone. I ordered a Spedix 4in1 35a instead here from Amazon and works great. returning this one :( So glad Amazon has a great return policy.

What I like about this product is the quality of manufacturing. Looks great. The things I wasn't all that giddy over was that the board wasn't labled all that well & the included literature left me wanting more information. The default Dshot600 it comes w/ also left me w/ 1 more thing I had to take time & deal w/ before I could get going. All in all worth the money. The time.. well...yours may not be as valuable as mine so I'll leave that open for interpretation.
