For 2 weeks I have not seen the Wood Peckers who have all but killed my Atlas Cedar. This ribbon is easy to use and will be easy to take down. I recommend this product.

Suddenly I found myself with a friendly birdie pooping on the stoop of my back door and ledge of adjacent window. Days of cleaning it off. Messy and dangerous to my puppy. But, it would happen almost immediately again. Received this yesterday. Attached 6 strips with double sided tape onto my storm door and window frame. Not one incident since applying it. IT WORKS

It is what it says it is...but don't think it had much effect on the birds. My trees look like they're decorated with Christmas icicles, but I still have those darned grackles. I wish I could figure out how to get these higher up into the trees. I tie a piece of yarn to the middle of a strip of this, then a rock on one end of the yarn and a stick on the other end and throw the whole thing as high into the tree as possible. The rock gives it momentum and the stick helps it catch on the branches. Trouble is, I can't throw but about 25' up and the tree is probablyy 50-60' where the grackles roost in the top.

We had one little squirt of a woodpecker that was making our lives a living hell. After hanging three ribbons at his/her favorite spot, the problem stopped immediately. :)

The first day of this tape was so good, but those darn birds figured it out. My old horse needs pelleted feed. The feed bucket rests on the fence (corral panel). The bucket isn't that big. But a pigeon or 2 will actually perch on it and try to eat from my horse's bucket. That is the worst thing that happens. I don't care that the birds are on the ground. Of course, they are searching for whatever my horse spills. The birds are stubborn. I have to stand there and throw rocks to keep them away. I had high hopes for the tape and it didn't work out - at least for smart pigeons. I have to try something else. No, I can't remove the food source.
