Works as described. If you want the monitor a battery over a long period where the monitor will be used for different equipment, just leave the monitor connected to the battery.

This meter is easy to use and quite accurate. The Powerpole connectors make it easy to move the meter to various locations as I monitor or troubleshoot my system. Now I can tell what is going on with my system at a glance. This meter removes the guesswork from diagnostics, and the running Amp-Hour total helps me to keep track of my battery's State Of Charge.

I use this meter to monitor my Lifep04 Lithium Battery Packs which I use for Ham Radio. The meter has many peak and max readings which rotate in a cadence. Nice product.
