This Roman Lorica Segmentata is crafted from overlapping plates of 18 gauge steel coupled with brass fittings are accents. The two halves of upper torso armor are fitted together with a set of adjustable brass buckles and leather straps. These upper armor pieces are connected to lower torso armor with another corresponding set of brass buckles and leather straps. The lower armor is laced around the torso to finally secure the armor into position around the body - leather lacing is included.The interior of the armor is blackened and the armored plates are articulated by riveting them onto internal bands of thick leather.
