This V-Lock Battery Mounting Plate is a true gem for anyone in need of reliable power solutions on set. Build Quality: The build quality is top-notch. SMALLRIG has always been synonymous with robust construction, and this battery plate is no exception. It feels solid, durable, and built to withstand the rigors of a street content session or in and around offices of my clients. I have no doubts about its longevity. Versatility: What I love most about this V-Mount plate is its versatility. It seamlessly integrates into my rig, allowing me to power not only my camera but also various accessories like monitors, lights, and even my follow focus system. Very well made. Versatile.
A compact little setup that's very well made as you'd expect from Smallrig. Easy to use and everything locks firmly in place. It's got a decent chest pad and is a doddle to use, keeping the weight closer to you with a battery pack behind the camera.

Good stability
It's surprising the difference this has made to my general stability when filming, using in against my chest, shoulder etc. Really good to have that extra point of contact, spreading the fatigue about too taking some away from my arms on a long day. Usual superb Smallrig quality.

Great Product Yet Again From Smallrig
I was skeptical about this product but it is very comfortable against the chest and really helps stabilize panning video shots. Glad I made this purchase.

SmallRig: V-Mount Battery Plate (Advance Kit)
A really well thought-out and decent bit of kit. 🟢 Pros: ⚪ Despite there being no instructions, only took me a couple of minutes to put it together; it's very straight-forward. ⚪ All parts of the unit is well made which gives it a robust feel overall. ⚪ My V-mount battery fits without any issues and included is a V-mount adapter so other items can be attached. ⚪ The main arm can be extended and have its angle adjusted; you can also adjust the pads angle. ⚪ Comfortable to use. 🟡 Neutral: ⚪ The camera slot can be used with other SmallRig cages, however, it will freely move through it, so make sure you secure it properly. The included camera base plate of course has failsafe features. 🔴 Cons: ⚪ At the time of review, none that I have come across.

Fantastic For A Blackmagic
What's not to like for this amazing bit of kit from SmallRig. I've got bad hands at the moment so anything that will help take pressure off my hands is a win and this helps so well. Definitely worth a purchase. As you see in my little video it can also be used just on your lap. So if your sitting it can be used, taking g pressure of your hands, all this whilst using your v mount battery. The battery clip also has a male clip that vab be attached to other things/batteries so they cab be clipped to the mount. Also, this item feels really nice. Well done SmallRig for a fantastic device with so meny possibilities. 5*****
