Spigen Ultra Hybrid Designed for Pixel 7a Case (2023) [Anti-Yellowing], [Military-Grade Protection] - Crystal Clear

I've used Spigen in the past and had ok experience. This is a review for the clear case which I got at a discount for $15.99. I wouldn't pay the original price of $30+ for this though. The clear case is not a wow - it's what it is, silicone looking and transparent so don't expect "aha, wow" reactions when you see it. It is however, what I wanted since I have a white phone and just sick of the dark colored phones so I welcome the change. Pros: a. simple looking and thin - not bulky b. easy to put c. seemed to do it's job of protecting phone - dropped phone once face down and nothing happened to it d. all the right holes for Pixel 7a. I just bought the wireless charger and I will update this review if it does not work with this case but generally, that shouldn't be an issue.Con: a. Priced originally at $30+ which is steep for a soft silicone case without fuss. b. After taking the case off 2 times to install a screen protector, I feel like it the case has expanded a bit and isn't as tight as the first time I put it. This might be a sign that its losing its grip easily? Will wait and update when this becomes an issue.

I purchased the clear case to show off the color of my Google Pixel 7a phone. I've been using it for two months now and have no complaints. In the past, I've used "2-piece silicon plus hard shell" cases, so this is a nice change in that it's sleek and slim and slides in and out of a pocket or purse without catching. But it's also "just" grippy enough that I never feel like it's about to slide out of my hands, and this is from someone who uses their hands so much in my work that the fingerprint sensor on my phone only sometimes recognizes me! The fit is exact, the cut-outs and button covers are precise, and yet it wasn't too difficult to install. I have not tried taking it off yet. AND, it creates no interference issues when I charge my phone wirelessly with Google's wireless charger. I would purchase this again.

I have found that in the world of smartphone accessories like cases and screen protectors: buyer beware. If it's cheap, there's a reason for it. One can see the difference between a clear case for 5 bucks and one for $20. In my experience the Spigen line of cases are always a good decision and buy.They fit! Consistently. They offer good protection (depending on what type of case you opt) and seem to hold their clarity for longer periods than other cases I have tried. I'm not "in love" with this case's thickness, but that was a conscious choice to provide good protection from my clumsy hands.

Awesome sauce. It looks awesome. The pixel 7a is a horrible phone.

This case withstood unbelievable testing. Spouse has a rage problem and slammed the phone from shoulder height reeling it back first all the way to the tile floor and somehow everything still is working. I'm guessing no other case could provide this much protection. Now if only the doors and walls had The same protection! Will have to resort in bubble wrapping everything else. Hope you like my review. It's honest and true.

The case fits my Pixel 7a like a glove. The slim design and texture of the phone makes it easy to hold without worry of it slipping out of my hands. The case truly is clear and lets the color of the phone show through. Would recommend and buy again!
