This Little Steamer Packs a Punch
I was visiting my daughter, and she had the Rowenta PurePop Handheld Steamer in her guest room. My suit jacket and slacks looked like they had been wadded up and left under a car seat after my flight, so I gave this thing a shot—and it worked like a charm. The steamer heats up in about 15 seconds, which is honestly faster than I can find an ironing board. It’s compact and super lightweight (about 1.5 lbs), which makes it easy to handle and perfect for travel. The 2.3 oz water tank doesn’t sound like much, but it was enough to knock the wrinkles out of a full outfit. For longer sessions, you’ll want to keep a refill handy. At 1150 watts, it’s surprisingly powerful for its size. It doesn’t replace a full-size iron for those sharp, pressed lines, but for quick touch-ups and travel use, it’s hard to beat. What I Like: – Fast heat-up time (15 seconds means no waiting around) – Super portable and great for travel – Took deep suitcase wrinkles out of my suit with no problem – Stylish design with a comfortable grip – Works on most fabrics without issue What Could Be Better: – A small water tank means frequent refills for more than 1–2 garments (not a deal killer) – You’ll still want an iron if you need crisp creases – A bit big for travel Final Thoughts: I was impressed enough after one use to buy one for myself. It’s now my go-to teamer, and let’s face it, a lifesaver when you need to look presentable quickly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5 stars Compact, fast, and effective. Perfect for travel and quick wrinkle fixes.

Great little steamer!
Rowenta has always made great irons & they did not disappoint with this steamer either. I researched many other steamers before I decided on this one. It is very easy to use, it’s very light- weight, & reasonably priced. I also liked all the cute color options. It does great for getting the wrinkles out of your clothes, has a long cord, & comes with a bag to put the steamer in when not in use. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the water tank is tiny & I was able to steam about 2 pieces of clothing maybe 3 at the most before needing to fill the water tank again. That is the only thing that could be improved in its design. However, I still highly recommend this steamer & would buy it again!

Quickly Heats up, does a nice job of steaming out wrinkles, Wish it was smaller
The Rowenta steamer heats up impressively fast—ready to go in under 20 seconds—and does a solid job of releasing wrinkles from garments. With a full water tank, it produces enough steam to handle both the front and back of a heavily wrinkled dress shirt. If you're quick, you can even get through a shirt and a pair of trousers before needing a refill. While the unit is a bit large for travel (I wish it were more compact to fit better in my suitcase), its size contributes to a well-balanced, comfortable grip during use. I picked it up on sale, which made it an above-average value for the price. Bottom line: It works well, gets the job done quickly, and won’t break the bank.

Great easy to use tool DURABLE
I liked that it worked fast and good and comfortable for the hands. For garments especially collar shirts and those work clothes that get ruined by a real iron. This is excellent for travel. Didn’t leak. Value for money is excellent. Only one thing to note: using it on 12 real velvet curtain panels (commercial size for tall ceiling) in one day, and accidentally leaving it plugged in for two days strait will melt the cloth barrier it couldn’t handle it. Also I dropped it from a tall ladder and pieces came apart and I put it back together it still worked. So after every beating I gave it, the tool proved worth the money each time. (Give it breaks between every 6 commercial size curtain panels and it will go on for years).

Beautiful Design, Awful Experience — Snail's Pace, No Reliable Steam Logic
I really wanted to love this. The Rowenta Pure Pop is stylish, compact, and feels well-built—but after multiple attempts, I have to say the user experience is borderline unusable and downright maddening. The issue isn’t that it never steams. It’s that it steams intermittently, unpredictably, and without any clear signal. You’re left guessing: does the white light mean “ready”? Do you need to press the trigger to initiate the boil? Is the pulsing normal—or a design flaw? No one tells you. Even the manual is vague. As someone with a background in business, UX, and systems thinking, I’m stunned this made it to market. There are no design affordances, no cues, no way to learn the “language” of the device. You basically have to trial-and-error your way through it, and even then, it rarely delivers consistent or useful steam flow. I stood in front of a single sheet for over an hour and couldn't finish even one batch—and yes, I followed all the directions. What’s worse, many reviews led me to believe this was one of the better steamers. Maybe those folks unknowingly stumbled onto the “correct” rhythm, but that’s not good design. That’s luck. Bottom line: if you’re looking for a reliable, intuitive steamer, this isn’t it. It’s the prettiest—and worst-performing—steamer I’ve ever used. I’ll be returning mine and choosing something that respects both form and function.

Never got as far as seeing how this steamer works as it was supplied with a plug that cannot and should not be used in the UK (product designed for 120v only). Very surprised & disappointed to see Amazon selling this in the UK. Am now returning & getting a refund.

The product is coming from American market rated 120v which makes it not compatible with 230v UAE market
