Truly excellent bit of kit
I had several branches of some trees to cut down so ordered this for the job. Nice bit of kit that comes in a good strong bag. 3 saw blades, a cutter and several poles. A lot of poles, too many for my needs but better to have that than not enough for your reach. I fixed 3 of the extended poles together, nice and tight so it was fairly rigid. I have to say it was easy to use and I had 4 branches down in no time. I then removed the blade and used the cutter. A bit fiddly at first using the pull cord but soon got used to it. Very sharp blade and it did the job great. Overall good quality item. Very pleased with this purchase.

Handy tool
A good tool but bit whippy and difficult to move around when used at its longest reach. So saying the saw did work well through branches nearly 2” in dia. A bit heavy to move up and down when sawing at full reach, but slow and steady works well.

All you need for tree maintenance! ...
All you need for tree maintenance! ... I'm very impressed with this kit which I have used to maintain the overhang of high trees in our garden. It is easy to use but, obviously, the more extension poles you put on, the more difficult it becomes to control. I find the putting the pole between my feet on the floor and knees helps to keep it steady. The cutter is very capable of cutting branches at height (but be very careful of them falling onto your head)! I have not used the saw yet but it seems to be of excellent quality as is the whole kit. I am very pleased I bought this and can see it being useful for many years to come.

Sharp and excellent quality
A bloke said he’d trim my acacia for £600. You can guess my response! We are surrounded by a copse and the trees have 2-3m of branches overhanging our garden. This was great for doing the trimming even 4 inch (10cm) branches. The trick is to cut gently and let the very sharp two way cutting saw do the job. Forcing will get it stuck. Yes it gets a bit unwieldy to use the longer the pole gets but I managed I didn’t need the last two poles and managed to cut 18 feet high (5.5m) branches with ease. The pulley cutter for smaller stuff is also excellent. I fully recommend this saw and the price was very good.

Waste of money - blunt, bendy and string nearly worn through after one hour of use
Even at half length, the pole is so bendy that it is unwieldy. The cutting blades are blunt so really hard to chop anything wider than 1cm. Very expensive for what they are. String worn through after only an hour of use. Waste of money. Don't buy. Got other clippers for £20 that work so much better

Great tool
Our neighbor has high trees that hang over our garden I connected the polls together which was easy they screw together and hay presto jobs a good one I built the polls together to 20 feet and had no problem cutting the branches and I was really surprised the pruning tool cut through with no trouble at all.

Works well, but heavy
I bought this for the pruning head (not the saw) to stop wisteria shoots growing across to a maple tree. It came well packed in a strong cardboard box and there is a good storage bag for the poles, with a separate pocket for the saw blades. From the description I knew it would be heavy and I would have preferred the 21ft set, but that did not come with the pruning head, so I had to buy the 28ft set. The poles appear sturdy and are foam filled to reduce flexing, with good screw connections. I chose this type (rather than the one with the cutter facing forward), as it is easier to hook the pruning head around the stem you want to cut, pull it slightly towards you and then cut. The pruner cut the wisteria, which is very tough, without too much effort and gave a nice clean cut. I wish there was a clip to hold the rope loosely against the pole as I kept losing it, and I found it a bit difficult to look at what I was cutting and look down to find the rope. I am an averagely fit mid 70 year old and managed to lift and hook on with 4 poles, which was sufficient for what I needed. I might manage 5, but I know I could not have lifted all 7 on my own. Overall I am happy with my purchase and do not know of anything else which would have done this job.

great bit of kit
this is a great bit of kit enables you to reach to high branches with relative ease and cut through thick branches very quickly with the very sharp saws, the lopper part is also great for easily cutting through the smaller stuff. give yourself plenty of space and don't work directly under the branch your cutting, the only down side I found was the rubber handle wasn't a tight fit so moves and can quite easily fall off so could easily be lost.. might just glue that in place.
