Lack of instructions, before buying i read one reveiw saying he sent it back because he thought his rail was a slightly older version with no holes to fix in place!Well after looking on YouTube ,there are no holes the screws are self tapping & make the hole.Apart from that it has good rubber grip & makes squaring easier.

A must for the perfect straight edge cuts every time.

The attachment is fine once correctly fitted. The photo of the assembled item on the Trend Direct web site, and reproduced here on Amazon shows it upside down.The instructions accompanying the product are woefully inadequate. The user has to guess how to fit it and that holes need to be drilled in the clamp to take the self tapping screws. If they go by the above mentioned picture they will be totally confused, as I was for a while. I attach pictures of mine fitted for comparison. Note that flat surface of the accessory is uppermost when viewed from above, and the recessed side underneath.

It does a good job of helping to get the guide in right position. I know its trend but I think it's a little pricey. Although it does work well.

i really dont understand some ofvthe feedback if you are a diyer and purchase this and dont know how to fit then just give up doing any diy.install by clamping to a squared piece of wood and use your square to align . Drill 2 x 2mm pilot holes and then apply the self tappers. A little epoxy on the underside will also ensure that everything stays square.I would recommend purchasing with the jig as it just makes alignment so much easier. great addition though little expensive.

A must have item. It’s the perfect add-on to the guide, makes it that much more accurate and reliable. Really well made and strong, as you would expect from Trend products. A great purchase and well recommended

Found this just before I purchased my 50" Trend guide rail, thinking it would be a useful accessory, bought this too.Read some other reviews re fitting this to the guide rail about having to drill holes and there being no instructions.Well, looking at the screws, it's pretty obvious that they are both self drilling and self threading, so simply locate the attachment on the rail, use the clamping function of the rail to hold it securely in place, then simply drive the screws in with a cordless driver.I found in use it definitely helps, but isn't perfectly square (probably within the specification), so always check!Main gripe and reason for not giving 5 stars is the price, relative to the guide rail itself, for which I paid less than £40 (for the 50" version), this is a VERY expensive add-on.

Great addition to the squaring clamp.I don't like the fixing method as is is weak, I replaced them with m4 nut & bolts.Also fits UJK Squaring Clamp.
