Excellent middle ground.
Excellent quality without a wallet melting price. Good size handles you can get your fingers around. The lid knob is easy to use with oven gloves and ridges to stop your stirring spoon sliding off.

superb
Gorgeous colour, cooks quicker than others I've used so saves on energy, easy to clean with no staining from things like tomato or curry paste. So glad I spent that bit extra to get this top quality cookware

Top quality cast iron pot from Lodge
Really high quality cast iron pot. We use this for baking sourdough bread in the oven at 230 degrees Celsius, and it is definitely up to the job.... Retains the heat well, does great bread, and very easy to clean....

Gorgeous
Very pleased with this Dutch oven. Beautiful quality. Arrived within a week to UK. Now our sourdough bread comes out perfectly cooked. This is just so useful. We’ll be using it for stews, etc as well. Large size but happy to display this on top of my stove. Highly recommended and worth every penny

This ships from the US so you may have a wait even with Prime
This arrived after 10 days from the US. There was full tracking provided and strangely for such a heavy item it was delivered by Royal Mail. It was packed really very well and arrived in first class condition, just a little dusty but a quick soapy wash and it's good to go.

Finally decided to get a Lodge to bake my sourdough bread. It’s great but very heavy as it’s a 6qt. Love the colour. Handles are just right size.

This is a good quality cast iron Dutch oven. Easy to clean, however, it's very heavy so a bit hard to handle. Overall, I'm super pleased and would buy it again.

I have a cheap stove, so it's not easily possible to stew things at lower temperature with regular pots. The heat dissipates too quickly, so it just stops simmering. Not with this pot: It has amazing heat retention, so it has become indispensable since I bought it. It is extremely heavy though, which is to be expected by such a large mass of cast iron. Maybe it can double as a makeshift bomb shelter in a pinch. I guess any dutch oven has to measure up to Le Creuset, which I don't personally have any experience with. However, I can see that the Le Creuset costs at least twice as much on Amazon. I doubt that it can be twice as good because this pot is damn near perfect. At 6 liters, it is a bit too big for two people, but that's hardly Lodge's fault. Only disadvantage to me is that the lid edges are kind of rough so they feel like unglazed terra cotta. That means that putting the lid on, taking it off, or moving it makes a scraping sound which I personally hate more than nails on a chalkboard. Fortunately, the lid is very heavy as well so it's not like you move it around too much. I'm kind of blindly rating its taste though. I have not tried eating it because I find cast iron too hard to chew, but I have to assume it's delicious.
