I’ve been using this retinol for couple of weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the results. It’s very effective without being overly harsh, as long as you introduce it slowly into your routine. I'm applying the product every other night as it's my first time using retinol. After a few weeks of consistent use (just at night), I started noticing a real difference! My skin looks more radiant, smoother, and much more even in tone. The “glow” is definitely there, and some of my uneven patches have visibly improved. The formula feels slightly oily at first because of the squalane base, but it absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling nourished rather than dry. No irritation at all. I use cetaphil moisturiser after retinol which is super effective. I wake up in the morning and my skin feels like a baby. For the price, the quality is amazing. If you’re looking for a retinol that delivers visible results and gives your skin a healthy glow, I highly recommend this one. I’ll definitely continue repurchasing!

As with all The Ordinarys products this is a science backed formula that really delivers. It promises faster cell turnover encouraging collagen renewal. I find it can be a little oily on application but it sinks in really fast leaving no stickiness at all. I can honestly say this works for my skin. It feels smoother, looks younger and I'm impressed. As with all retinol use make sure you use moisturiser morning and night and good sunscreen everyday even on winter days to combat dryness and to prevent sun sensitivity. For me the price is great compared to other retinol creams

I haven't noticed any significant difference in my fine lines or skin smoothing. I do find the squalane base to be quite oily on my skin. This means I absolutely don't need any moisturizer afterward, which simplifies my nighttime routine. It's gentle and hasn't caused any irritation. I know retinol takes consistent use, so I'm going to continue using it to see if the anti-aging results appear later.

This is the first time I've ever used retinol, it's been about 3 months since I bought this bottle and it's lasted this long! I started using it every other night for the first week then every night the following weeks. It took quite a while to get used to this retinol with it being my first time using and in hindsight I should of started on the 0.2% first, I had the occasional retinol burn In the crease along my neck where it had pooled through the night but it was a indication I had used too much. This retinol has a slightly oily feel but this is because of the squalene, it does however serve its purpose for the morning after my skin felt moisturised. All in all this is a great retinol, I would however use a lower strength 0.2% if its the first time using, then after a couple of months go to 0.5% then 1.0. I recommended this to my friends as already I have noticed a reduction in my age spots, fine lines, and my skin has a more youthful dewy complexion. It does take time, you won't see results straight away but stay with it and remember you'll get better results the stronger the retinol! But you need to get used to retinol in the first place and this retinol is a good place to start.

Ordinary are a fantastic company that clearly know what they’re doing. The retinal comes in an aesthetically pleasing bottle which goes nicely with my skincare corne! The Doppler it comes with it high quality and really good for accurate dispensing. You only need a few drops which makes application very easy and smooth. It absorbs evenly in the areas you’re applying it to and provides a gentle feeling to where it’s being absorbed. The smell is quite normal for a retinol serum and last for a very long time.

No good for me as it causes milia on my skin

Package was open and bottle only filled down to 3 quarters. It feels too light on the skin for it to be actual retinol Sadly I think its a dupe. Douglas sells this bottle for half the price!!!

Finished it already! Very good quality retinol for someone looking for an affordable one.
