**Important to note they although they’re verrry stretchable, once you stretch 2 inches in one direction, the shrink on that adjacent side**. I cut them up into random, sometimes specific superficial muscle lengths depending on what’s hurting. They work. Bought them for thrombophlebitis (swollen calves after 12-16 hour) nurse shifts. Better than Salonpas per price. Wish box came w more patches.

Does this patch have a scent or strong scent?

It is lidocaine not mentholated. It did not have a scent at all. It worked as well as brand name at the drug store. We thought this one stayed on better than brand name also.

Got them for an Aunt who has pain in both arms. Can she use one on each arm if necessary?

I would put on 1 patch per day, no more than that. I am using them to lessen the rib pain and back pain I'm suffering with. These work well for that. I don't know if you can get a allergy or sensitivity of another form from an exposure of too much of the anesthetic (that's what lidocaine is). Better to use just one. Leave it on for up to 12 hours. Put a fresh patch on another area after that one is removed, preferably after a shower. A clean and dry area, in other words.

How long does it take to feel numb on the area?

I wouldn't say it makes you feel numb, but it makes the area feel very cool and relaxed. It took about 3-5 minutes for it to start working on me.
