great for lamps
I wanted to use lamps without my cords hanging all over the guest bedroom so I use these in the lamps (and don't plug them in) so I don't have cords all over. They work perfectly and I haven't had to charge them more than once (and they are used a few times/month). GREAT for what I purchased them.

Simple and easy to operate rechargeable light bulb
They're several things I like about this lightbulb and one negative.First off they are simple to operate! My grandmother was able to operate it without any demonstration or instructions :-)Besides the remote control function there's a button located on the housing of the lamp in which I found easily accessible in a variety of different fixture types and lamps.I used this to turn the lightbulb on/off During an outing over the weekend this lightbulb lit up my tent. Way better than a flashlight for that application 😁During this outing I did test the battery life of one of these bulbs on full brightness and after 4 hours the light bulb was still producing a good amount of light. The remote is simple and functional with a few buttons which are clearly marked and easily understood. The quality and feel of the materials the lightbulbs housing is made out of is good. The one thing that bothers me about this bulb if I've got it in the lamp and the lamp is turned on and I hit the emergency light button the light bulb goes off but when I turned it switch on the lamp off the light bulb comes on as it should serving as an emergency battery backup light bulb. What really bothers me is why in the heck can't the bulb stay on while the power is turned on to the lamp and then continue to stay on or briefly go off and back on when it loses power? You can't have that much you light function on and it light up when the light switch is on or lamp. It's all backwards maybe it's me but it should either come on using the light switch with no power going to the home and function like the power is it off to the home.Or when the lamp is turned on and I hit the El button on the remote the lightbulb should stay lit. I was hoping the lightbulb would function if the power goes out I can still turn the light switch or lamp on and the light bulb lights up. If i press the EL button the light bulb will go off while it's getting power to it, if I turn my lamp off or light switch off then the lightbulb comes on, I turn my light switch or lamp back on and the light bulb goes off. In my mind it's function as a emergency lightbulb for power outages is Totally bass ackwardsAnd that is why I'm giving it only three out of five stars.

these bulbs fully charged dont last 30 minutes
We chose the bulbs that don't require electrical plugs because we use them in an area of the house that we don't need every night. MANY times I have fully charged the bulbs and they don't last more than 15 minutes two times and they are done. Save your money

Great Backup Lights for Power Outage.
There are a lot of these types of lights out there now and I've tried another set that didn't have a remote... ended up being a bit annoying since turning the switch off turned those lights on lol. So yeah, couldn't really use them in places I couldn't reach. With these however, the remote/s make using the switch obsolete.Pros:-Remote is great, but also optional. Even if you lose the remote, you can still set brightness and use them with the button on the side. Also, one remote works with both lights at the same time.-Can set light output either for ambiance or to save battery power. It is only going to be about 500Lm at max so keep that in mind if you are looking for regular 800Lm bulbs.-Way better than using a candle or your phone when power is out.-Red and Green glow indicates if the light is charging or fully charged.-Ran it for about 4 hours with no issues.Cons:-They only charge via E26 sockets. These do not charge via USB like some others can so keep that in mind.-The "hook" for hanging the lights from stuff is very small and will require a string or something to use.-Indoor use ONLY. Due to the vents and such in the design, don't use this outside or in places where humidity can get in.Note:A minor moment of concern was when the remote would not power on the 2nd light. Apparently, you must first press the button on the side of the light to turn it "On" before the remote will work with it. Initially thought I had a defective lightbulb.

Only got one bulb instead of two
It was not bright enough for a light at my chair, could not see well enough to read at the brightest setting. I also only received one bulb instead of two.
