This massage gun works well and helps with sore muscles. It has different speed settings and a strong build. The battery lasts a long time, and it’s easy to use. One thing I love and hate is the weight of the massage gun, as it has enough weight needed for your muscles, but it can also be tiring to hold for extended use (But that depends on how long you're using it for) The only thing I would change if I could go back in time is to getting the version that lets you adjust the massage head for more flexibility. Overall, it’s a solid option for muscle relief

Let me start off by saying what made me buy this Theragun. I've had back pain ever since I was 18 yrs old. I had fallen and injured my back. Jump ahead several years ahead I've had acupuncture, chiropractor's , pain medicine, purple mattress, adjustable bed, cheaper massage guns, and a massage chairs, and everything that you can thing of some items helped with some pain but sooner or later id be back to square one inpain. My pain interfered with my daily routines but a few weeks ago I was visiting my son out of state and had went to Andretti indoor Karting and games and got blasted from behind by this lady and it Jared my back later that evening I could barley walk. I got in his massage chair (same as mine back home) helped a little but not enough. Then my son said try this he gave me the Theragun mini with the standard tip. After jamming it into my back until the battery wore out I did it again the next day and OMG .... I had never felt better in my entire life. My back felt incredible I was able to sleep better with zero pain,stand tall, bend over everything felt amazing. So after leaving I knew I had to get me one just incase I had an episode. So even though I liked the mini holding it was kinda rough. So I purchased the Theragun Therabody prime 5th generation and using the thumb tip for deeper soothing omg feels amazing. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has had similar issues. The handle makes it so much easier for you to administer self treatments and dig i to the pain. I will say I used my son's on level 3 when I was there, now that I have mine and it goes up to level 5 I will say as of yet I have not needed it that intense yet. I feel amazing. I also want to say start out on the lowest setting until you can withstand the pain I have a high tolerance and a high drive to feel better so I did what I needed to do to feel better. Thank you Theragun for inventing this amazing product it gets a 10 out of 10 from me.

Works great. Easily helps provide relief to neck and back muscles. The design of the handles does allow you to get some parts of your neck, and some of the back - but probably not as easily as the marketing may lead you to believe. For most instances you will need someone to drive it into back areas that are especially troublesome. You need a nearly “straight in” angle for some parts of your back that cannot be easily physically performed by yourself, otherwise the drive shaft will start slipping and you don’t get a smooth percussive motion. Other than that caveat, it certainly does provide relief and helps to ‘reset’ those tense muscles and encourages freedom of movement. The included massage heads are ample for most use cases - niche or not - and I’m happy overall with the purchase while it was on sale.

I am getting older but I still like to work out and even when I was younger I always had problems with tight muscle's. For example, at one point I had knee pain caused by tight hip flexors. Over the years I have tried many things, tennis balls, foam rollers, super hard foam rollers, lacrosse balls, all to loosen up tight muscles. I even bought a cheap $40 massager. The massager, hard foam roller, and lacrosse ball worked okay. Recently however, I have been suffering from sacroiliitis, which has not been healing as quick as I would like, so I finally broke down and bought the $300 TheraGun. Well I must say it is amazing, a game changer, I wish I had bought one years ago. It is plenty powerful, I can hear it make the floor hum when I use it on my thighs and it penetrates deep into muscles unlike the cheap massager. The TheraGun definitely loosens tight muscles, aids in recovery, and helps me relax. As I said earlier, I wish I had bought one years ago. The price held me back, but I am really glad I took the chance and purchased one.

Product has helped stiff neck problem. I use daily and feel a lot better. The button to turn on and adjust speed is hard to push. If it was a little easier the rating would be 5 stars. Easy to charge and charge lasts a long time.

Amazon offered a great price on this Theregun Prime massager. The discount was because it was a 5th gen item and 6th gen is available (at a higher price). I’m very happy with the massager although I wish it were not made in China.

We’ve had this for 14 months and it’s already broken. Seems like a battery issue from what I can find on Reddit, lights flash for a minute when you try to turn on. Therabody has no meaningful support because we’re 2 months past the warranty period and didn’t buy directly from their website. Really disappointing to see such poor longevity from a $200+ product. It was never wet or dropped and again only used occasionally so this is a poor quality issue vs a wear and tear issue.

I am not sure there isn't anything painful that the TheraGun can't help. It doesn't cure problems, but it certainly makes the pain associated with muscle overuse, tendonitis, shin splints, and the like more manageable. It works best when you have someone else holding the tool, but the strangely shaped handle makes it possible to hold the TheraGun comfortably to reach almost any part of your body by yourself as well. The different heads (which are easily switched out) are all well-thought out, and the several speeds allow you to address large or thick muscle areas as well as small or thin muscle areas. Battery power is also good, and it holds a charge for a long time between uses. Originally a gift, everyone in my family became addicted to the relief that the TheraGun provides and we are all converts. I can't recommend it enough.

The TheraGun is magical. It works wonderful and is so easy to use. Great for releasing neck and lower back pain.

Reviews of the G4 mentioned that it was too noisy - i.e. couldn't watch TV while using it. This G5 is quiet enough to allow me to watch TV while using it. It is easy to use, and easy to sync with the app - which is useful when working on particular issues.
