Samsung GALAXY A34 5G (256GB) BLACK

Being a bit of a tech enthusiast I like to thoroughly research through multiple sources before I decide to buy any gadgets, computer parts etc. This phone has been widely praised by many and I've got to say after receiving it they were 100% correct. After a couple of weeks I can safely say this phone is probably the best value you'll find. It's chipset by Mediatek is extremely good, despite appearing to be less powerful than the Exynos chipset (A54) in the benchmarks. In real world scenarios, it matches and even regularly outperforms the latter. The battery life is great, easily a days worth of capacity with moderate to heavy usage. 120hz display is nice and smooth, stereo speakers sound great considering how small they are and plenty of promised software + security updates as standard with Samsung. The only things I was worried about with this phone was the outdated "tear drop" style border around the selfie camera, which really isn't as intrusive as it may seem and it missing a 3.5mm headphone jack. Which really isn't that bad either as the 5.3 Bluetooth works flawlessly with pairing and not dropping connection. You can buy reasonably good earpods on amazon for as little as £15. If you're on the fence about this phone, I highly recommend you just get it. It's by far the most well rounded in the price bracket, some other phones offering slightly better features in a certain area but at the heavy cost of another. Very satisfied.

Having used Chinese branded phones (Poco X series) for the past 5 years, I grew tired of the bog standard 1 OS update and infrequent security patches. Chinese phones at this price point offer more bells and whistles but after 2 years you have to start looking at installing custom ROMs. I have always been skeptical of Samsung budget phones as they offered very little for the premium price they charged. But after reading good reviews of the a34 and the promise of 4 OS and 5 years of security updates, I took the jump. And wow! Pros- The screen. The screen is to die for on a £230 phone. IP67 dust and water-resistant. Unheard of at this price point. 4 OS and 5 years of security updates. Great battery life. Cons. No charger in the box. 25W charging in 2024 is abysmal. The A34 is a well made phone with a middle of the road chipset, a fantastic screen, great battery life, and long lasting support from the manufacturer. Bargain.

Had a Samsung J6 for ages but its response time and screen refresh times were getting annoyingly slow. Also charge didn't last for long so I was charging it every day, sometimes topping it up after any heavy use. I was looking for another android with more RAM and internal storage space, plus the screen refresh had to be quicker. I looked at Honor, Blackview, Sony, Xiaomi Redmi, but they were either too expensive or didn't have base android as the operating system. I'm too old to fiddle with new OS even if it's over android so plumped for a new Samsung and chose this for its 256Gb storage and 8Gb RAM. To say I love it is to understate the effect it has had, obviously not a flagship phone like S24 ULTRA, but it's so good at the basic stuff and it does it quickly, which is my main reason for replacing the J6. Loads of speed and loads of space. 'Nuff said!

The phone is great and I like it a lot. Arrived on time. The two security stickers on the box were already broken. The phone itself looks to be in new condition though. There is a note in the box that says the phone is region locked to south east Asia but it works just fine with my EE sim.

Love it. Easy to use with a good storage capacity. Battery charges quite quickly. I only use Samsung charging cables on this, not the cheaper cables and after having owned my phone for quite some time I am really happy with it. Apart from being a phone, it's my encyclopedia, sometimes my games unit, my diary, my news source etc., all in one handy sized product with a good sized, clear screen. I'm a fan!

Upgraded from an old SamsungJ5 (2016 ) so a massive improvement. Battery life & fast charging the biggest, plus the phone is much faster. Old phone still going strong ( given to my young grandson ). Always impressed with Samsung, technology this A34 5g with 8 RAM should hopefully last as long as the previous phone.

My previous phone developed a charging fault and I needed an instant emergency replacement. Having had plenty of Samsungs previously went for this A34. Easy to set up through smart link, and it is actually performing better than expected, even against my higher spec previous model. Great battery life also. Good value.

Replacement for previous Samsung phone who's battery wouldn't hold a charge for more than a day! Bought this based on a Which?review. Screen is very good and the phone feels sturdy. Fast response. I don't need Ai or really fancy features so fits the bill perfectly.

qué podemos decir de esta marca que no se sepa ya? este terminal es una pasada en cuanto a memoria ram y en cuanto a capacidad de almacenamiento. tiene un comportamiento muy fluido. el sonido es espectabular, tiene 2 altavoces que le da un sonido envolvente. La pantalla amoled full HD es un punto fuerte, y el otro su batería de 5000 mah que da de sobra para el día con un uso intensivo.

Parfait avec une grosse mémoire !

I've only had this phone (Samsung Galaxy A34 5G) for about 10 days. It's a good phone overall, given the very reasonable price. Runs smoothly and it's pretty fast navigating the apps (certainly compared to my previous Samsung Galaxy A20). The videos play well too, the sound is good, and the quality of the photos seems perfectly fine to me (haven't yet tested the camera in low light, which, going by other reviews, is apparently less good than the competition). The only minor downside as far as I'm concerned is fingerprint recognition (facial recognition seems to work OK), which does not always work super well and certainly not if, for example, you've washed and dried your hands beforehand, somehow this seems to confuse the fingerprint software. In which case you may be left with no choice other than entering your password, which can be a bit annoying, especially when you want to open the phone quickly. Hence 4 stars rather than 5.
