I absolutely love my Echo! The sound quality is incredible—crystal clear and surprisingly powerful for such a compact device. Whether I’m playing music, getting weather updates, or setting timers, it’s so convenient and easy to use.

Imagine, if you will, a sleek, compact oracle sitting proudly on your countertop, ready to answer your every whim and inquiry with the efficiency of a Swiss watch and the charm of a seasoned personal assistant.The screen! Oh, the screen, so delicate yet powerful! A five-inch portal into the worlds of weather, recipes, and—oh, the news, dear ones! It’s like having your very own personal newscaster, poised and ready to deliver the day’s tragic or trivial headlines, all without you lifting a single beautifully manicured finger.Now, let us not overlook the voice assistant, Alexa. A marvel, truly. She responds with such precision and swiftness—so obedient, so devoted—I daresay I could become quite attached. Need a song to serenade you while sautéing some shallots? Done! Wondering what the weather holds for your latest fashion unveiling? She whispers it to you with perfect clarity. It's as if one has been bestowed a servant—albeit one with a particularly mechanical disposition.And the video calls! My dearest ones, you may never again be separated from your adoring public! Simply marvelous.In short, the Amazon Echo Show 5 is the indispensable companion for anyone of refinement and taste. I mean, why settle for an ordinary speaker when you could possess this digital duchess that speaks, displays, and delights at every turn? To live without it would be, I assure you, a life of profound deprivation. One must never endure such a fate. Never!

I set this up and it worked fine throughout initial set up. Then while I was selecting options in the settings menu it wasn't registering. It was behaving very glitchy all round. In the end I pulled the plug and re booted it. It resolved the issue. However there have been 3 times where I have had to do this while making changes t settings such as clock, home and photo. Customer service did reach out and offered to speak directly with e to help but as it wasn't a lack of knowledge on how to set it up or make changes I didn't take them up on their kind offer. Now that it is all set up and left alone it is fine.I wish I had gone for a bigger size as my photo album displayed on it doesn't fill the whole screen. Portrait orientated photos are even smaller. So the ratio of your photos and orientation matter. I tried the auto crop, crop all and do not crop settings and all setting the photos don't fit the screen.The clock choices are good and I like the landscape images. These do fit the whole screen. So it makes it even more of a shame that my photo don't.The sound is good and equals my dot. I can't tell if the bass is more though. Obviously you can increase how much bass in the equaliser. What I mean is compared to my old echo dot. I wouldn't say it sounds much, if any different.I used the alexa app on my phone to live view the camera. There is a slight slowness to the movements of the person the camera detects. However, it is good to have the ability to check on pets at home while at or children.The length of time between photo changes are good but I would have liked a better transition between them. Instead the screen go's blank/black and then loads the next.I found I didn't need to have it on very bright and urned off adaptive brightness.

Love this product, bit smaller than anticipated but still love it! Easy to set up and use, the sound quality is brilliant and different display settings are perfect.

Now part of my daily use!I wanted an Alexa device in my office to contribute to the other technologies I have.This is perfect when listening to music working from home and telling Alexa to stop when receiving a teams call!I have it set up as my alarm clock and it works well and I even returned my original alarm clock as I didn't have a use for it anymore, I love using it as an alarm clock, for the weather and like I said for Music/Radio.
