outstanding product that I highly recommend
I recently acquired the EF ECOFLOW Portable Power Station DELTA 2 Max and it has been nothing short of a game-changer for my sailboat maintenance and outdoor adventures. As an individual who frequently works on a sailboat, the need for a reliable, robust power source is paramount, and this power station has exceeded all my expectations. Firstly, its impressive 2400W output and 2048Wh capacity have been instrumental in running a variety of equipment. From power tools essential for boat repairs to lighting that extends my working hours, it handles everything with ease. Moreover, I’ve even used it to power a small heater, which speaks volumes about its versatility and power. The rapid charging feature is another highlight. Being able to fully charge the power station in just about an hour is incredible, especially when time is of the essence. This feature has saved me a lot of time and hassle, allowing me to focus more on my work and less on power management. Its portability is a huge advantage. Despite its high power output, it’s compact enough to be carried around easily, which is crucial for someone who is constantly moving around on a sailboat or outdoors. Lastly, the durability and build quality are top-notch, ensuring that this power station can withstand the challenging marine environment. It feels robust and reliable, which is essential for any equipment used in such settings. In conclusion, the EF ECOFLOW Portable Power Station DELTA 2 Max is an outstanding product that I highly recommend. It’s a perfect fit for anyone in need of a powerful, fast-charging, and durable power source for outdoor activities or marine use. A solid 5-star rating from me!

It's a great product, just not as an EPS (always connected Emergency Power Supply)
It's a great product for what it's designed to do: act as a nearly silent standby power source. It's powerful and well-built, but has too many features for it to be used as I intended. I purchased this mainly as an EPS backup for our sump pump. After using it for one day, I can say with a high level of certainty that it's not a good idea. 1) It does NOT act as a simple pass-through. While your grid power is ON, if anything goes wrong with the EcoFlow's configuration, or inverter failure, misc. electronic failure, etc., it will no longer pass the power through to your pump. Grid power ON + EcoFlow issues = flooded basement. 2) The unit has a manual power switch. Again, when the unit is powered off, power is not passed through. 3) The unit has an AC toggle switch (also in the app). If the AC is toggled OFF, power is not passed through. 4) There's a device timeout. If power isn't drawn during the timeout, then the EcoFlow will time out and not pass power through. It can be set to "Never Timeout". 5) There's an AC timeout. If AC power isn't drawn during the timeout, then the EcoFlow will time out and not pass power through. It can be set to "Never Timeout". 6) Firmware upgrades will cause the unit to revert to the default settings. There's a notice indicating this when you upgrade the firmware. This morning, I upgraded the firmware. After the upgrade, the AC was toggled OFF. OFF is the default. I recognized this within 30 minutes of the firmware upgrade (the sump pit was nearly full). I toggled the AC back ON, then the pump ran. What if they decide to push a firmware upgrade out automatically? I believe the timeouts were also reset to default, which is less than "Never Timeout". The question I asked myself was, "How reliable is our grid power?" My answer is about 99.999%. In 15 years, we've been without power for about 12 hours total. The final question is: how reliable is the EcoFlow? Given the five points above, it's certainly under 99.999%. I'm plugging the pump back into the wall.

Powerful, Fast, and Amazingly Well-Built
I just received the DELTA 2 Max, and right out of the box it made a strong impression. The charging speed is the first thing that stood out to me. When I plugged it in for the first time, the percentage jumped so quickly that I actually double-checked the display. Getting to 80% in under an hour is not an exaggeration — it really does it. The overall build quality feels premium. The LFP battery chemistry was a major reason I chose this model, and even as a new owner, you can tell it’s designed for long-term durability. It gives a sense of confidence that you’re not buying something that will fade out after a handful of uses. I immediately tested it with several of my own devices — my computer setup, my monitor, some studio gear, a few household items — and it handled everything without even blinking. Seeing it push out clean power to multiple things at once reassures you that the 2400W rating is not just theory. The number of outlets also makes it practical; I never felt limited or cramped trying to plug in several items at the same time. The quiet operation is another pleasant surprise. When it’s charging, it’s barely noticeable. I had it sitting a few feet away, and it never became a distraction. The expandable capacity is also a smart feature. Even though I haven’t added extra batteries yet, just knowing that I can turn this into a much larger backup system if needed is a big plus. Overall, as a new owner, everything about this unit feels solid, fast, thoughtfully designed, and genuinely capable. It delivers exactly what I hoped for when I ordered it.

Will Power a Gas Home Furnace for Hours
This is enough to power a house-sized furnace blower for multiple hours (gas furnace, not electric, of course). We permanently keep it plugged in to our vaction house furnace to provide an automatic USB-like cutover when we are gone, to keep the house from freezing during shorter power outages. When the power is on, it powers straight through this unit to the furnace, without invovling the battery. It works great for that purpose; just be sure to set the AC output to "always on". Although it would only run the furnace continuously for 3 hours when the power goes out, the furnace does not run continuosly so this battery runs our gas furnace for about 7 hours in the winter keeping the temp at 70 when it is freezing outside; would probably run much longer if you were keeping the temp at 50. The free iPhone app that comes with it, allows us to see what is happening remotely when there is a power outage at an empty vacation home. Of course, you need to put another smaller version of this item on your WiFi system, to use like a USB on steroids, so it stays up and allows you to remotely monitor the house while the power is out. We bought the solar panels for backup, but we have not plugged them in to try them out yet.

Great battery backup
What is it? It is a Portable Power Station DELTA 2 Max made by ECOFLOW. They call it a Solar Generator however it is a 2048Wh battery unit. It does not CREATE power so it is not a generator. Once charged it can be used to power devices like a cell phone charger, refrigerator, or even an air conditioner. Using this as a backup solution for your home is also a good option as it provides plenty of power for many of the things you'd want to utilize during a power outage like a deep freezer, Wi-Fi router, Television, Microwave, CPAP, coffee maker, chargers, etc. Why do you need it? If you need battery backup or stored energy to power things, this may be the right product for you. What are some of the best features? It can be charged via grid (1,800W AC input), solar, or even charge from your car. I was able to charge mine from 0% to 100% in one hour and fifteen minutes using grid. Once the colling fans start, you can hear them if you are near it but they are pretty quiet, wouldn't disturb your favorite television show. If you choose to charge using solar, you can do so up to 1000W max using dual 500W inputs. You can also charge via grad at the same time. *Per ECOFLOW website: "With its upgraded LFP battery chemistry, DELTA 2 Max has a lifespan of 3000 complete cycles until it reduces to 80% capacity. You'll get pretty much 10 years of power, even if you use it every day. That's 6× longer than other power stations with a similar capacity and output." **Lithium Iron Phosphate battery chemistry (also known as LFP or LiFePO4) is an advanced subtype of Lithium Ion battery commonly used in backup battery and Electric Vehicle (EV) applications. You can add up to two additional battery unit to this providing up to 6144Wh. It has a FIVE YEAR warranty. There are six 30AMP outlets, two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, two FAST USB-A ports, two DC5521 12 volt ports, and a Car Power Output (cigarette lighter for us older generation) What could use improvement? 1. It would have been nice if it would have included a pair of solar charging cables. ECOFLOW website nor ECOFLOW Amazon Store had any available so I ordered these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCRTB5N7 You will want the XT60i, it must include the "i" if you want to have the capability of 500 watts each. The XT60i connector has an anti reverse insertion design. 2. Occasionally when connecting the solar panels, the unit wouldn't auto-start charging right away. Sometimes I'd have to disconnect the solar cable a time or two before the Delta 2 Max would start charging from the panels.

Almost perfect power station, just needs one software feature
The unit works great, good price, and has lots of features. I wish the PV input had slightly higher voltage support to more easily get the full 500 watts per PV input port, but a few extra amps will get the job done. The one feature I wish it had, is the ability to schedule AC passthrough time. I live in Southern California, and the price for power at least triples between 4 and 9PM, so I wanted to use the device to run off of battery during that time and AC the rest of the time, but there is no way to do that without manually turning on energy management every day when I want it to start. Alternatively, you can plug the unit into a smart outlet and have that scheduled to turn off at a scheduled time, however that causes a "harder" switchover from AC to battery, which causes a little harder flicker (longer failover time) than a graceful switch using the software. The unit is great though, I can run way more devices at the same time than I thought I'd be able to without having any voltage drop. I run my entire home office from this one unit including a mini-fridge, 8000BTU AC unit, 4 computers, 7 monitors, and all my network gear. I consistently hit 1500 watts continuous with a few hundred more surge/peak when things start up. I wish it had wheels and handle like the Delta Pro, but it's light enough that you can awkwardly carry it around if needed. I really need a couple expansion batteries so I don't have to conserve my power usage during those 5 hours every day.

Easy to use and well made
I bought the ECOFLOW Portable Power Station DELTA 2 Max to use as a backup for my home and for camping trips. I was amazed by the large capacity, the fast dual charging, and the multiple output ports. It can power almost everything I need, from my fridge to my laptop. It is also very easy to use and monitor with the EcoFlow app. The power station is very user-friendly and convenient. It has a clear LCD screen that shows the input and output power, the battery level, and the remaining time. It also has an EcoFlow app that allows me to control and monitor the power station from my phone. The app is very easy to use and intuitive. It connects to the power station via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and shows me real-time data and alerts. I can also update the firmware and access customer support through the app. The product came in a well-packaged box with all the accessories and manuals included. The packaging was sturdy and secure, and it protected the power station from any damage during shipping. The box also had a handle for easy lifting and moving. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase of the EcoFlow Delta Max. It is a powerful, reliable, and versatile portable power station that meets all my needs. It is worth the money.

Great Start to my Disaster Prepping!
I bought the Delta 2 Max as a start to having a solution to keep the necessities in my home running during outages. Since I bought it, I haven't had any outages, but I did test it with several of my home appliances. It ran my mini-fridge (80W) for 53 hours, and my big stand-up freezer (130W) for 26 hours. That's about double what you might calculate (and what the Ecoflow says on the screen when you first plug the appliances in), but that's because fridges and freezers don't have to run constantly - they kick in and out to keep cool as needed. Next I'm going to test it on my regular fridge, but I assume that will be similar to the freezer. That type of runtime will probably do me for most of the outages we get around here! Of course, if I tried to run all of these appliances at the same time, the Delta 2 Max wouldn't last long, so I'll have to try to gauge how long I think the outage is going to be, and prioritize what to power! I am also considering using the Delta 2 Max as an EPS - keeping the fridge plugged into it, so that when the power goes out I don't have to worry about my food getting spoiled if I'm not home. I hope to add a Smart Generator and/or maybe some solar panels to my set-up so that I can keep the Delta 2 Max charged during an extended outage. I found the device easy to set up, easy to use, and it seems to work very well. I love the app for "geeking out" on power draws and things like that. After draining it on my appliance tests, it charged up again ridiculously fast for such a big battery. That's quite amazing. Also, it is much lighter than its competitors with similar power, which is important for me as I'm a smaller person. Even so, I find it difficult to move around at about 50 lbs. I contacted customer support with a question and they responded right away, but it was just a quick, "We're sending your email on to the correct department". It took 6 days to get an actual answer. So, that's not super responsive, but at least they did get back to me. I guess that might be a symptom of dealing with a smaller company who doesn't have a large team dedicated to answering questions, although I'm actually not sure exactly how big the company is. All in all, I'm very happy with the Delta 2 Max, and I'm almost looking forward to my first winter outage this year so I can pat myself on the back for being prepared!

Best backup solution on the market for homeowners looking to power their essentials!
I bought the Ecoflow Delta 2 Max as a backup power source for my home in case of a power outage. With our electrical grid going down ever more frequently, this is a smart buy for anyone looking to power essentials during a blackout. I can report that after tested it by running my refrigerator, freezer and a few lights circuits in the house, a am really impressed with it's performance. The Delta Max has a really cool display that shows the input, output and remaining battery life, which is super useful for monitoring the power usage. I recently purchased a few rigid solar panels and I can report can charge by adding these I can run my essential appliances indefinitely using solar power. Since I also use this unit in my camper van, I was also very impressed with the quietness of the fans while under load. This is something Ecoflow has addressed from the outgoing model. New battery chemistry also means, this is a worthwhile long term solution. The Ecoflow Delta 2 Max is high-quality and high-performance power station that is a fantastic backup solution for any home owner! Highly recommended. The only thing I would like to see is a bit more automation over when the unit charges from the grid...for example when there is a storm in the forecast. I'm sure this will eventually come because they are constantly adding new feature to the app.

A Huge Improvement Over the Competition
The EcoFlow Delta 2 Max is outstanding. It is attractive, lightweight, and has a simple intuitive layout of switches and power inputs and outlets. The internal 1800 watt charger is also a game changer. You don't need to lug around an external charging brick and you can recharge the Delta 2 Max in a little over an hour. And the internal fans are quiet. After a couple of weeks of being shutdown, the Delta 2 Max still retained a state of charge of 100% - there appears to be little or no power loss when it is being stored. The app is intuitive and very easy to use. I bought the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max to power my ICECO VL90 ProD Fridge/Freezer. After 24 hours of running both sides of the ICECO as a fridge, the state of charge had only dropped to 78%. At this rate of power consumption., the EcoFlow would be able to power the fridge for 4.5 days. This is a huge improvement over the Bluetti AC200Max that I had purchased (and returned) last year. The state of charge in the Bluetti had dropped to 58% after 24 hours - implying only a 2.4 day runtime. The internal power consumption of the Bluetti AC200Max under no load was almost 1% per hour, which is exorbitant. Additionally, the Bluetti was supplied with a large external 200 watt charger. The Bluetti required about 10 hours to fully recharge, as compared to the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max which requires a little over an hour to fully recharge using its built-in 1800 watt charger. So, if you are looking for a lightweight, compact, quick charging, and easy to use power station that has the ability to power a lower wattage device over several days, the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max is the perfect choice.
