Christopher's Original Formulas BF&C Conditioner 8 oz Liquid

these are truly herbal natural ingredients. the best conditioner i've tried along with "glossy locks". "glossy locks" is thicker, heavier and maybe more moisturizing but harder to use and weights hair down a lot. dr christopher's conditioner & shampoo give hair body, volume and shine, eliminate frizz. they don't wear hair down at all! shampoo smells like juicy fruit gum but conditioner smells a little medicinal. I don't mind, scent doesn't linger. your hair look so healthy&beautiful after using shampoo & conditioner, just amazing and smells good.

I use his shampoo, so decided that I should use his conditioner as well. It smells divine! It is quite thick, and a little bit does my head and my long hair. It detangles my hair really well and I feel that it makes my scalp happy too!! Since I use both the shampoo and the conditioner, my hair feels thicker as well, and that is a very good thing! I am very pleased with this and will order more when it's gone.

This conditioner contains quatemary ammonium compounds as the third ingredient! Quatemary/quaternary ammonium compounds score an 'F 'on the Environmental Working Group's website. I've been using this conditioner for years. At some point it became easier to use (spread through my hair better, stopped static) and I figured they had just found a natural way to make it better (because it's an herbal company). In 2020 I started getting bottles that smelled strongly of chemicals and when I tried to push past that, thinking it must just be a different batch of strongly scented herbs, it started burning my scalp. I had to keep returning the bottles that smelled like the chemicals, as I couldn't use them. I contacted Dr. Christopher's to let them know, thinking it was due to them using poor quality ingredients because of the supply chain problems during covid. I asked them to have better quality control, as we're paying more for a healthy conditioner. I never heard back from them. I started watching the lot#'s and decided to look over the ingredient list again. They list quatemary, but don't say the rest of it (ammonium compounds). I almost thought it was the name of an herb. I decided to look it up and had difficulty finding what it was by that spelling, but eventually did. I contacted the company, who confirmed that it was indeed that. I'm guessing that it's been in the conditioner for years, since I first noticed the improvement in spreading through my hair. I'm thinking that somehow more got added in the lot#'s that had the chemical smell. Since I had originally gone over every ingredient in the list back when I first started using it, to make sure it really was a healthy product, it never occurred to me that a major change would take place and to periodically monitor it. I'm so disappointed in the company and will re-think using their other products in the future.

Wow! It's awesome! Hair look so shiny and healthy. I have fine hair. Ones I started using Dr. Christopher shampoo and conditioner, my hair become stronger, fuller, healthy and shiny looking. Even my family and friends noticed a difference. One's you switch to a natural product, at first, your hair and scalp will need to go through transitional period while chemicals and toxins from conventional hair products are been removed and cleared. During this period, you may won't like how your hair looks and feels, but if you continue using these products, your hair and scalp will thank you for this.

I wish the size were bigger and the cost were lower because I had to use a lot of this. It didn't lather very well so I had to use quite a bit in order to get all my hair and scalp clean- and I don't have a lot of hair. I only got 6-9 uses out of this entire bottle. Other than that, the shampoo & conditioner used together left my hair so soft- probably the best it's ever felt. What I liked was that it didn't weigh my hair down with things that coated my hair.. it was MY HAIR that felt so silky and soft.

I have much less hair shedding since using this shampoo and conditioner. I have reordered and plan on continuing to use it.

We really liked this in our home. Since we dont condition daily (we dont wash the healthy oils our of our hair daily) it was not used up super fast. Myself and my two daughters used it and I want to say it lasted us about a month. We usually do a baking soda wash and apple cider rinse (on the days we wash our hair) but this was a nice addition about once a week - smelled nice too.
