We ordered the Pfaltzgraff Gabriela Blue 16 piece dinnerware set and were immediately struck by how beautiful it looks in person. The blue floral pattern and embossed detailing are elegant without feeling overly decorative, and the overall presentation on the table is genuinely impressive. As shown in the photos, the pieces look cohesive and well finished. In our set, we did not notice any significant color variation or uneven glazing, despite some reviews mentioning inconsistency. That said, we did not examine each piece under close inspection, and the reactive glaze nature means some variation is expected. Visually, everything looks well matched and attractive. The stoneware feels solid and substantial. These pieces are noticeably heavier than our Mikasa Trellis bone china, which gives them a more grounded and durable feel but also means they take up a bit more space and weight in cabinets. The mugs are a good size and feel comfortable in the hand, and the plates and bowls have practical proportions for everyday meals. So far, everything has arrived intact with no chips or cracks. Long term durability will take time to assess, especially with regular dishwasher and microwave use, but initial impressions are positive. The finish feels smooth and well sealed, and the set appears well made for residential use. Overall, this is a very attractive and well balanced dinnerware set that works for both casual meals and more formal settings. If you appreciate heavier stoneware with a classic floral design and a timeless look, this set is a strong option and offers good value for the price.

Gorgeous. Exactly as described

I ordered two sets of these dishes because I loved them and wanted extra for large dinner parties. None of them have broken so far and they are very charming to look at. However, I can't put these in the microwave because they absorb all of the heat and it is extraordinarily painful to take them out of the microwave. Additionally, I can hear them cracking when the hot liquid goes into the cups from the keurig for my coffee in the morning and although they do not break, I can see cracks on the inside of the mug. Like I mentioned, they haven't broken, but it's nevertheless a disconcerting sound for a mug that is designed to hold hot liquid.

They are casual enough for every day use but also look nice enough for a dinner party! They wash easily in the dishwasher. The bowls come in two sizes (pasta and cereal sizes). The set I bought also came with coffee cups, which are actually the perfect size to use as soup bowls. I really like the bowls, but I was surprised that the outside of the bowls are light blue which I couldn’t tell from the pictures when I bought them. These are decently heavy, sturdy plates, and good quality.

I am impressed with the quality of these dishes. They were packaged carefully and not one dish was broken. I needed to down size my extra heavy dishes. Plus my arthritic hands would not hold my old dishes. I can now enjoy my new dishes.

I cannot say enough good things about this dinnerware set! These plates and bowls are absolutely gorgeous. Not flimsy feeling (decent weight) and yet still delicate. They fit easily into my cabinet and are a breeze to clean up or put in the dishwasher.

Love these plates. They are beautiful and we've had lots of compliments when we use them on occasions. Have put them in the dishwasher with no issues but I prefer to handwash them.

I had a scrubby, old dinner set that's 20 years old. It was chipped and faded so I decided it was time to get a new set. This set is just beautiful. I love that each piece is individual. It was well packed and shipped lightning fast. I wish I could buy more, but there are no more in Australia.
